This apartment and this town was an absolute slice of heaven. Rossella and Gianluca are the warmest, most gracious hosts you will ever encounter. They met us at the property and took the time to show us through the property and explain where things are and how everything works. They also provided a very generous welcome basket of treats and a bottle of local wine. Yes, we were presented with a rental agreement, which we were happy to sign. This is one of many properties we've rented that have requested rental agreements; as long as you read what you are signing and behave as good guests should, I personally don't find this problematic.The location is perfect and the house is spotless. AC in all three bedrooms and extremely comfortable beds provide very restful nights. It was VERY hot in the area during our stay, so it might have been nice to have AC or circulating fans for the living room/kitchen and bathrooms, but I don't think this would be much of an issue when the weather is even just a bit more comfortable. The outdoor dining area is lovely and is actually reasonably cool and shaded in the morning even on very hot days. In summary, if I could return to this home and Monticchiello every year, I absolutely would. Thank you, Rosella and Gianluca for an unforgettable stay!
