Set in a one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany, near Monticchiello, this stunning villa enjoys a breath-taking view over the surrounding olive groves and the Renaissance town of Pienza.

The villa, furnished in the typical Tuscan style with antique and wooden furniture, has a large garden with terracotta pots of geraniums, wild roses and bushes of lavender and rosemary which create a beautiful frame around the swimming pool (15x5 m, from 90 to 170 cm deep, open from 9th May to 3rd October) set in a landscaped terrace looking out over the countryside. Around the swimming pool and in the garden there are tables and lounge chairs, lovely spots for relaxing, reading, conversing and sipping the excellent local wines. Furthermore, a covered dining space with fireplace, pizza wood-burning oven, barbeque, table and chairs will allow guests enjoy unforgettable Tuscan sunsets.

The villa, 700 sqm, can host up to 14 people, respecting the traditional structure of the farmhouse, which is divided into two independent units: the ground level, once the stables, which can accommodate ten people, and the upper level, where the peasants used to live, which sleeps four more people. As a result, it is the perfect setting for family reunions or groups of friends looking for an “oasis” of tranquillity, surrounded by art and culture.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (microwave oven, dishwasher, oven, American-style coffee maker, kettle, Italian coffee maker, juicer, toaster, fridge/freezer, dishwasher), a huge living room with dining area and with double doors opening out onto the front patio and to the back garden. A smaller living room with a large stone fireplace surrounded by comfy sofas, offers a warm and cosy intimate atmosphere. 4 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all with en-suite bathrooms (3 with shower and 2 with bath and shower head), complete the ground floor, together with a laundry room and a toilet.
An outdoor stone staircase leads to the upper floor unit; four breathtaking arched windows overlook the valley and the huge oak tree in front of the house, creating an open and dynamic space. Another area with large stone fireplace offers an ideal retreat for afternoon reading. A fully equipped kitchen will appeal to those who love cooking, and the view from the various windows are a pleasure to the eye. A Toilet.
The bedroom/bathroom area consists of 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (1 with Jacuzzi and shower, and the other with shower).

The villa is fully air-conditioned, has central heating and mosquito screens.

A buffet at the arrival as well as a continental breakfast on the first morning are a warm Tuscan welcome to all visitors. A 3-hour midweek cleaning on Wednesdays with towel change is included in the price.
