Hotel Sansicario Majestic
4/10 Poor
"This is an Italian family ski resort hotel, don’t expect anything luxury. The one positive thing was that the have our dog a very nice welcome bag with treats, dog bowl, poop bags, and a bed. That was very much appreciated, but from there the experience went downhill. First of all, even if you’re a guest you have to pay 25€ for the spa and book a time (no more than 45 minutes allowed). Then the restaurant is basically a cafeteria and the food at the buffet doesn’t stay hot… the à la carte menu has nice presentation but poor quality food. And finally, the room did not come with any water to drink nor anything in the mini bar etc. Very very basic, however that is what you can expect for the price. Staff was either young and arrogant or old and tired… they were nice though but almost none of them speak English. Would not recommend unless you want a cheap family friendly ski resort. "

"We stayed here for February half term as a group of 14 (four families) and the house was genuinely perfect in every way. It’s one of those rare places that looks great in the listing but is even better in real life. The layout worked brilliantly for a large mixed group — plenty of space to spread out, comfortable communal areas for meals and evenings together, and everything felt well thought-out and well equipped. The property was spotless on arrival and clearly cared for, which made it feel immediately welcoming.Location-wise, it couldn’t have suited us better. Montgenèvre is a fantastic town — friendly, easy to get around, and ideal for families — and the skiing was excellent. It was exactly what we wanted for a half-term trip: great atmosphere, great slopes, and a really straightforward week logistically.A special mention for Serge the owner and their agent, GoMontgenèvre — they were incredibly responsive throughout, quick to answer questions, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed anything. That level of communication makes a huge difference with a large group and gave us total confidence from start to finish. We had an amazing week and would book again without hesitation. Highly recommended for large family groups looking for an easy, high-quality stay in a great resort."

Hotel Gran Roc

"Room was very clean and staff very friendly. The breakfast offering is decent similar to most hotels on the continent. The mini bus to the ski lifts is very reliable, I think it would be really great if it ran later into the evening. "

"Fantastic place for a family vacation in the snow. It’s so good to be able to ski in and out. The dinner was absolutely delicious. So was the breakfast. The rooms are big bathroom is clean and brand new nice towels nice sheets.
Only down is the firmness of the mattresses and the pillows that we found very hard
Other than that, we highly recommend especially it’s a very good price as well"
