「A very well maintained set up with modern amenities right at the heart of Ortigia. Walking around, coffee shops, shops and restaurants are all within minutes from the Maeco.
The breakfast served is hearty and of high quality.
We were in Ortigia for four nights and Martina and her crew made it even more special.

「Fabulous B&B. Anna the host is friendly and welcoming and speaks excellent English. Perfect location just across the bridge to Ortiga. Lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. Mini fridge with free bottled water was provided in the room and communal area where you could help yourself to snacks, tea and coffee. 「Staff was great, the room was charming and the breakfast was the best in Italy! There was street noise in the later evening as we were trying to sleep. We are not party people. The arrival and parking situation was unclear as this was our first Ortigia trip. I thought that we had arranged for someone to park our car. We had to walk our luggage in to the hotel with no where to park leaving someone with the car and police officers telling us we could not stay there then drive to a public parking...
「We had a really nice stay, parking was easy in cul de sac. . Stefano served the most amazing breakfasts and gave good advice on restaurants and places to see. Our room was very nice on the first floor, dear Stefano carried our suitcases up for us. The bathroom was very small but adequate. 」
「Best view in town - right on the water. We stayed in the Alfeo apartment with our 2 kids and we loved it. Large apartment and the view was magical. At night you can hear the party boats and some voices from below but they eventually move on - not a big deal.
