I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back!

We booked this room based on the reviews and ratings this B&B received on Expedia. We were not disappointed with our choice. A beautiful location nestled in the hills above La Spezia. Albergo Serena is located up in the mountains with ~10 minutes of curvy roads, but the views are spectacular! Their facilities are somewhat new, it's looks like it used to be a house and they added some rooms but well planned. Their staff are friendly and attentive. To start communication was prompt and comprehensive. This out of the way hotel with its own private garden is far from the sounds of the city center and just a 2 minute walk from shops and dining. The room was clean and well laid out and the service was first rate. I was concerned about not having cell coverage to connect to their system, however it was not an issue.
