"This hotel was lovely. The room was clean, and well stocked (towels, bedding, toiletries, drinks etc),. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which made check in/out very straightforward. Additionally, the airport transfer service was very useful and well priced. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection. And the air con was also very good. Location was pretty good, nice and central, however if you have any mobility issues the narrow street that it’s down may cause issues as cars and buses won’t go down so it is a 2-5 minute walk to any taxi or tour bus. For me that isn’t by any means a detractor however, since the hotel was still wonderful and the area was good for us as well! Would definitely stay again!"

"The staff were very kind and friendly, and the cleaners did an amazing job at keeping our rooms tidy. However, the whole place was much older than we expected from the photos. No stairs for the first two floors so unless you’re staying at ground level, you will have to climb a couple of flights of stairs to get to the lift. The initial room was like a basement that smelled mouldy, they luckily gave us another room, but even the better room had mould between the shower tiles and the shower floor was extremely slippery so we both had falls in the shower. There was a good selection of food at breakfast, and the location was fantastic. However, I will opt for a more modern, cleaner hotel next time I visit Hanoi."

"Loved everything about this hotel, from the moment I walked in its doors. The reception staff was polite, professional, and fast. The room was immaculate. Jack, the General Manager, obviously trains his staff to a high level of service, and if you meet him when you're there, you'll find him charming and extremely helpful, like old-school service we used to get at the best five-star hotels in Europe (before they were mostly bought out by conglomerates or chains). His kind attention made me feel that the hotel is now a home away from home for me, and I am looking forward to getting back there as soon as I can"
