The property was located in a very sketchy neighborhood where we did not feel at all safe. We expected the rooms to be small and newly constructed but did not expect to arrive to the water being turned off, the air conditioner not working, the room not being fully cleaned - with trash still in the garbage can and the previous guests' full complement of supplies in the medicine cabinet. There were construction holes in the wall that weren't patched, there was no way to turn on the bedside lights, other light switches were not functional, some cabinets were missing hardware, only hot water ran in the kitchen sink and the sinks were so small that it was almost impossible to brush our teeth. Not to mention that the bed was not fully made, with only a fitted sheet and a light quilt, no top sheet. While the concept was adorable and the price reasonable, those factors don't outweigh the negatives. We will never stay there again. Please note that if you are a larger than average sized person you won't fit in the doorway or in the bathroom. We are average size and we had to turn sideways to walk in.
