There was a little confusion on check in but was the only a glitch in the trip
Kayaks are a must ! The river is amazing and we could have spent all day out there taking in the scenery.Eagles have a nest there and was awesome to see. The trailer was great and all we needed. Everything we could have needed was there , even coffee pods and lots of salmon to be caught in the river Restaurants very close by and a great little bakery.
To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so we could have used those kayaks I read about, but 40 degrees F was a bit cold for my blood.
Loved the location ( next to a river!) and also loved the experience of ‘glam ping’, staying in an RV during a rainstorm was fun and cozy! We also loved going to Aucoin bakery for breakfast… quite honestly, the best bakery I’ve ever been to! Was a great stay! Thank you so much and will definitely be back again, for longer next time!
Loved staying at Riverside, great RV and Shannon was great. Beautiful area and kayaking on the river was a beautiful treat. Got pictures of a Bald Eagle abd a gokden Eagle.
Location! Location! Location!
There aren't many rentals available in this area so I felt lucky to find this. It's an older RV with aging seating - not good for folks like me with back issues. The unit wasn't properly cleaned between rentals - I wasn't willing to use the fridge due to the amount of food debris, and all glass and mirrored surfaces were dirty.
I didn’t actually have any contact with the property manager due to being offsite pretty much all day and gone early in the morning. Check in was super easy and just showed up at the site. I didn’t get to explore the property due to the fire ban and restrictions on accessing the woods. View just down the road from the site was spectacular and would recommend driving down before the end of your stay. RV was clean. A bit tight, but that is to be expected. Suited my own needs quite well. If there hadn’t been a fire ban, I think I would have gotten much more out of the stay.

Clean and tidy, but I saw three small inserts on the floor besides the power outlets of the bed. It’s scared me.
I originally booked this for 2 nights but we had such a terrible 1st night we left early and had to forfeit the 2nd night. We found it to be very isolated and in an RV park that was nothing more than a dirt road in the woods with a few clearings for trailers. It had nothing to offer. There is no cell service and I missed the part that gave the wifi code so we never tried the wifi. We spent most of the night listening to a mouse or something trying to chew its way into the RV. We found no evidence of one inside but it chewed all night. The owner Shannon refused to give me a refund for the 2nd night. He said we should expect animals if we were camping basically. We have owned and camped in an RV many times and never had that issue. There is nothing in the RV to tell you if the water is safe to drink or if you had to take any precautions with the toilet. There was no heat except a small one in the kitchen that never really warmed it up. The sheets were good but the towels were old and no face cloths. The overall condition of the RV was very tired and needed a better clean. I would never recommend or stay here again.
