"Our family of 5 siblings, our spouses and kids from toddler to 25, stayed here in 2022 and 2026. We really enjoyed both of our stays at this property. It has such a great layout for sleeping arrangements with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on each of the 3 levels, plus a loft on the upper level. The centralized linear parallel kitchen and dining room and adjoining living room are fantastic for keeping us all together without feeling squished. And, hands down, this is the most underrated lake access we have found at a vacation rental. We love that the backyard is clear and open, keeping the sandy beach within sight and earshot. It is a spacious, clean, and gently approach to the shallow, clear wading area gradually sloping to about 4' deep at the end of the pier. This is amazing for paddlesports, sunbathing, sandcastle building, and perfect for our smallest ones to discover the joys of the lake.We use Runamuck Rides out of Hayward to rent a pontoon. The husband and wife are super accommodating, and will deliver and pickup at your pier.Thank you so much for another great stay!"

"We enjoyed our week-long stay with our family of seven adults, one child, and our furry family members. The cabin was clean, quiet, and relaxing, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful water view. Having air conditioning and a washing machine available was also very much appreciated during a week-long stay. We were especially grateful that the property was accommodating to our pets, which made it possible for the whole family to be together.There were a few areas that could use some improvement. Outdoor seating on the deck was fairly limited for a larger group, and the refrigerator was on the small side, with usable space further limited by a broken rail inside the door. Seating in the living room was also somewhat limited, and we found the futon-style furniture in the sunroom uncomfortable because the cushions tended to slip.Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing week. The peaceful setting, water view, cleanliness, and pet-friendly accommodations were definite highlights. With a few improvements to the seating and refrigerator, this would be an even more comfortable stay for larger families."

"Very nice cottage on the Minong Flowage. Beautiful pine finishing throughout. Beware is you have mobility issues and plan to enjoy the River. There are 50 steps to access the dock. But the water access is great. Nice sandy shoreline with a gradual slope, ideal for swimming."
