「We didn't much like the distance from 118 but that is what it is. Otherwise, we liked it a lot. The trail and chairs outside were an unexpected pleasure. The deck and speakers were great. This time of year worked out very well since so many cactus species were blooming. The cabin was very comfortable. We had a couple issues with maintenance and one of them was fixed a couple days in. Well stocked kitchen with utensils, pans and glasses. The grill was nice but we were only able to use it once...

「This property’s serenity was true to its name. Very nice and modern accommodations. The property was close enough to the highway to be near to Big Bend and was far enough to be peaceful. The grill, smoker and fire pit were perfect for cool nights outdoors looking at the stars! 」

「The house is advertised. Remote for great star viewing, clean, owner responsive, etc. Our 7 and 10 year olds loved looking at all the stars each evening. Also, the road in and out wasn't bad. There are lots of roads similar throughout Terlingua and Big Bend. Our mini van was fine for this. Great visit.」

「This lodge is down a 16 mile road off of Hwy 118, about an hour drive to Big Bend National Park. It is cabins, RV spots and tent camping with a restaurant and pool. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean and well kept. It’s a great place for families, groups, and single/couples wanting a quiet, out of the way experience. 」
