Spectacular Views and Amazing Sunsets! This Cape Cod home has it all. Private dock and yard for relaxing with a cup of coffee or eating crabs. Feel at home in the beautifully decorated interior. Views of bay from kitchen, family room, master bedroom and dining area. Comfortable wicker furniture on patio and screened in porch. The name says it all! 40 minutes from Philadelphia and Baltimore. 10 minutes from North East, MD, Havre de Grace and Port Deposit. 20 minutes from Chesapeake City.

This place is the definition of the perfect getaway for a quick weekend. The home is immaculate, the scenery is beautiful and we feel instantly relaxed here.

House and location were fantastic. House was loaded with lots of amenities including plenty of dishware, silverware, pots, etc. At least 5 comfy spots to sit and relax. We really like the screened in porch although we had no issue with bugs, even in the evening.Many small touches which were unexpected including 3 or 4 nightlights (great for those getting up at night and/or younger kids). Lots of birds to watch and several pairs of binoculars in the house. Check in and out were super easy using lock box. We'll definitely vacation here again next year.

This was our 8th year (& second time this year) and it is everything and more than advertised. We have another week coming up I. A month and can’t wait to get back to this lovely home on the water.

Beautiful house

This house was absolutely amazing! It was very clean and the view from the house is wonderful. The pictures doesn't do justice. Also the house had everything you needed from kitchen utensils, pots, pans, coffee maker and much more. We would definitely stay again!

Fabulous find!

The stay at this home was EXCEPTIONAL! The view and location were spectacular, home was so fully stocked with everything (and then some) of what you may need. I had viewed a few properties nearby and we were so happy that we chose this one! Definitely the nicest place I've stayed in ever. Beautiful. Decorated so lovely, everything you need geared to the area. We had not been to this area before but had such a fabulous time, I hope we return. The scenery of watching all the birds and nature around you was truly captivating. He's not wrong. We relaxed more than ever for vacation. We didn't want to leave often because there was the deck, the dock, the screened porch, the front porch, the upper balcony all to view from. The best binoculars to help you see clear across the bay. I can't rave enough about our experience. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

Dream home on the water

I can’t say enough about this house. This is our second time staying here. First time with the new owner. The house was exactly how we remember it the first time around. Beautiful, comfortable furnishings, clean, amazing views. We enjoyed kayaking everyday with the kayaks provided in the house. We brought our own inner tubes and enjoyed afternoons floating in the water at the end of the dock. Let’s just say we did not leave the house once besides to pick up food here and there and we absolutely had an amazing time. If your looking for somewhere relaxing, quiet, and with stunning water views, this is the place!

Peaceful Respite

Always love staying here. Calm hits as soon as I enter the driveway. Kayaking, visits to Havre De Grace, Chesapeake Inn and Woody’s were enjoyed along with hours of relaxation and nature watching.

Absolutely stunning

Everything about this home was perfect for a family get away. From check in, until check out everything was exactly as described. Kayaking, fishing, and the most incredible sunrises. Looking forward to rebooking in the future. We miss the home already.

Gorgeous, relaxing stay on the water

We spent a wonderful weekend at the house, which was the perfect size for us (two couples, each getting our own bedroom and bathroom). The house was clean and well furnished, with a thoroughly equipped kitchen. The owners provided helpful recommendations for markets and restaurants (thumbs up for Covatta's and Forge in North East); although communication via the Vrbo app was sometimes slow, Joe answered all of our questions before and during our stay, and even graciously allowed us an extended checkout time. What really makes this place special, though, is the spectacular location, on a point looking out over the wide river and the hills on the other side. We spent virtually all our time in one of the many comfortable outdoor spaces, relaxing in the peaceful setting, gazing out at the ever-changing water, and watching the many, many birds (including bald eagles!). While we never did get around to using the kayaks or gathering around the fire pit, we've already rebooked a return trip in a few months, so we look forward to enjoying those features soon.

Amazing house!

We had a girls weekend and the property was amazing! I house was so nice and it had a beautiful view of the river. We will definitely be coming back when it's warmer! It's a great location as well!

Stay on the Bay

The house was perfect. While the weather didn't really cooperate still had time to sit on the dock and the porch watching the eagles, osprey, geese, ducks, birds and fishermen. Location near Charlestiwn and NorthEast us freat fir restaurants and shopping

Owner cancelled the day of. Beware!

Tried reaching the owner by phone and through the app for 3 days and never got a response. VRBO alsocouldn’t reach him. The morning of the reservation he cancelled the reservation stating the heater was broke. He left us stranded without any options. I do not believe there was a furnace issue. I believe he was surprised by the reservation and wasn’t ready for us. Very poor way of doing business and very poor communications! To add to the insult, he didn’t return the money and VRBO had to override him. Beware!!
