"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area....

"Gorgeous property from the outside, beautiful pool, garden and view.Very spacious inside, one of the four bedrooms does not have air con.The villa itself is quite tired (not vintage just old and worn in places). When we first opened the door we were hit with a very strong smell of damp and stale. There was mold on the curtains in the kitchen and on one of the bedspreads upstairs (a bed we didn’t need to use) as there were only 4 of us.The kitchen wasn’t very clean on arrival-a dirty cloth left...

"From check in to check out the villa was fantastic. Very comfortable with everything you need, supermarkets 15mins driving. Proximity to explore many different places which we loved. A car is essential for the villa, the area was peaceful and very relaxing. David and Karen were excellent hosts and helped us organise things we needed for our 2 week stay. I would highly recommend the villa, in fact I already have. Thank you David and Karen for everything and making our holiday perfect. "

"La casa es muy cómoda, las fotografías la muestran tal y como es realmente. Queda cerca de Alcobaça y puedes desplazarte fácilmente a Nazaré, São Martinho do Porto, Foz de Arelho, Leiria... "It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."

"Good stay. Host attentive. No washer as advertised, we had everything else we needed. The 5th room is accessed on outside. There is a fish pond right outside with frogs that croaked all night. This friend recommends draining pond to get rid of loud croaking frogs, or have a sound machine with white noise. We had a loaf of bread delivered each day, very nice. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate this host!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming country house! The home was spotless, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, clearly cared for.
