The space
Piggywidden Two has been converted to incorporate all modern facilities whilst retaining the building's original charm. The cottage is semi-detached, being joined on an L-shape with the larger Piggywidden One cottage. The cottages are surrounded by two granite walls which originally created the fold yard, but now form an attractive, enclosed sunny garden.
A beautiful single storey granite building, Piggywidden Two comprises of one bedroom. There is a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom leads into a small hallway off which is a recently updated bathroom with bath / shower (over bath), a lit mirrored cabinet above the basin, heated towel rail and a lavatory.
The hallway leads into a spacious open-plan kitchen / dining / sitting room, with high ceiling and Velux windows.
The fully equipped kitchen area includes an electric cooker, fridge, kettle, washing machine and microwave.
The sitting area has a double seater sofa, a small electric faux wood burner and a flatscreen television.
The Trewoofe cottages share a large, well-maintained picnic area which leads onto two contiguous meadows and overlooks the valley. It is a great place for children and adults alike to run free, explore the woodlands safely and relax.
The three cottages together make an ideal booking for larger groups / families.
Guest access
You are welcome to use the enclosed garden to the front of the cottage as well as the large picnic area and adjoining meadows and woodland.
