"3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog "

"Good location, unusual property. We found that we missed not having an oven but otherwise the kitchen was good. We planned to use the bbq but it had seen better days so decided not to use it. Lovely garden area and a nice walk into the village. We enjoyed our stay."

"We had a most enjoyable four night stay at the Housel Bay hotel. A fantastic location with gorgeous sea views from the Terrace restaurant and patios outside. We had a fairly small but perfectly adequate room on the 2nd floor (lift worked perfectly) with a country view, which we thought was very good value. Not much space to hang clothes but OK. Bathroom was spotless and shower was great. Delicious breakfasts and all the staff were helpful and charming. We had one evening meal there, which was delicious if rather pricey, The only fault was that the plug on the washbasin was faulty and needed replacing as the water just ran away. I did report this, and hope it will be repaired for future guests. Thoroughly recommended overall, and we may well make a return visit."

"We had a great week staying in Willow cottage! The owners and hosts, Paula and Paul, were absolutely lovely - so friendly, kind and generous. The cottage was really nicely furnished with everything we needed, and very clean. Fabulous shower and lovely large and fluffy towels :o). The cream tea was a really lovely touch and was very welcome when we arrived late in the evening.The SW coast path is literally 100 yards through a nice wood, with several inland footpaths leading to Cadgwith from Ruan Minor and Lizard. We walked in both directions between Coverack to the East and Kynance Cove to the West along the coast incorporating various inland paths and only took the car out once the whole week to go to Falmouth. Two nice pubs in Lizard Village, with the Witchball right next to the Lizard Shellfish shop serving delicious seafood. Chimichanga's in Lizard was exceptionally tasty too, and then a nice 2.5 mile walk back to the cottage after dinner watching the seals in the water :o)"
