Must visit Shangri-la Kowloon

"Love Shangri-la Kowloon, used to stay here for the last 15yrs. Hotel is nice, service is great, but Shangri-la's people are exceptional professionals that always delight me. This time the top person was Mr. Felix Yang that completed check-in swiftly and smoothly exceeding our expectations. Will be back!"

"Room clean and comfortable at the price. Minor room better with luggage stand, and provide a toothbrush and one bottle of water. Check in horrible 40 minutes wait. My suggestions: 2 managers standing there need to be able to check in guests. Pre assign room cards for prepaid guests express checkin line. Lobby add more chairs. Zero paper print copy find simplify checkin. Hotel is not a bank, no need to guard guest or their room like $5000 jewelry. "

"This is a great hotel to stay when travelling to Kowloon. they serve a very good breakfast every morning, with both European and Asian choices. The location is brilliant, being only a 5 minute walk to the Star Ferry terminal, and minutes form great shopping malls , major stores, hundreds of eateries and many bars. The staff in this hotel go the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible, especially the room maids who always greet you every day with a smile and some friendly chat. The rooms are large and very well equipped. Only a couple of slight negatives to mention. 1. They do not provide and sugar in the room, so if you take your teat/coffee with sugar then you would need to bring your own, or grab some from the breakfast room when your in there. 2. We found the coffee service to be a bit of hit and miss on occasions. Some mornings it was fine, but on others, we had to chase it up before getting our coffee. Also, when they pour the coffee into your mug, they only ever fill it to half way full, never to the top? We could never understand why they did this? However, neither of the two points above really detract from this being a fantastic hotel in a great location with superb staff. If we ever go back to Hong Kong, we would not hesitate to stay at the Langham again. Highly recommend this hotel"
