Great find

This was a great find. Owner was very helpful and engaging. Excellent provisions for breakfast, both in terms of quality and quantity. Very quiet and spacious. Abundance of wildlife to see on the veranda. Great shower and laundry useful. Only negative being zero WiFi although very good 4G available. Photos don’t do it justice.

The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We were greeted with a fresh loaf of home made bread and some home made biscuits, along with fresh milk and apples from the orchard. The cottage is beautiful and the birds and wildlife exactly what we needed.

A lovely retreat tucked away in the bush. Very clean and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to take our dog with us too. We were greeted on arrival with a freshly baked loaf of bread which was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

Conventient and clean hotel.

What a fantastic stay at Glenbrook House and Cottage. We arrived late at the hotel but they turn on the lights for us and ready for us to jump straight to bed. We reserved the hotel after having a bad experience in Burnie but it was worth driving back to Penguin.

wonderful hosts, was made to feel real welcome

Great experience, would have loved to stay longer. The hosts were amazing. The room is very spacious, the ensuite very tiny (not good for XL guests). The environment is just beautiful, it's common to see wildlife, very peaceful and amazing scenery. If you wish to get away from it all, that's the place to be.

You'll need a car to reach Glenbrook but the short drive takes you to a beautiful setting. Barbara is the perfect host and just what I needed after a special day walking Mt Dial!
