The house was entirely renovated with great care, prioritising natural materials, refined details, and a calm, cohesive atmosphere. It is designed for guests who appreciate character, aesthetic intention, and quiet elegance rather than standard accommodation.

Located in a very small and peaceful village with no passing traffic, Casa 5A offers true tranquillity. Surrounded by greenery, the area provides beautiful walking routes, several nearby "Blue Flag" river beaches, and easy access to Bussaco Forest, Coimbra, and Luso making it an ideal base to explore central Portugal while returning each day to silence and comfort.

Breakfast can be arranged in advance and served in the garden of the main house (extra cost applies). Guests are also welcome to visit the private showroom, where a curated selection of antique and decorative pieces is displayed with no obligation, simply as part of the experience.
