"Great host and neighbors! Cozy home with many things for the baby and kids. Very convenient location! We came in late fall when the weather wasn’t as predictable but we were able to see gorgeous views - both of the Lake and Mountains. We loved Zermatt, Stresa, Our Lady of the Rock in Locarno, and a boat ride to the Borromeo Islands. Parking in the garage was quite difficult for us Americans but there is street parking available. "The mini bus arrangement is absolutely a mess. We booked the shuttle bus and as a result of having no seats. I have to pay extra money to go to the hotel at the end. I complained and the receptionist gave me an email to report this issue and no reply from the hotel yet. The facility in the room is always having problems. We had booked for 4 rooms, one room with broken hair dryer and one room with noise in the bathroom (no idea where the noise coming from) and half broke sink the water goes down very slow. The breakfast is good."

"We had a wonderful stay overall. The hotel is in an excellent location, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful views, large balcony with a garden view, and the breakfast each morning. The pool area is absolutely divine and was one of the highlights of our visit. One small disappointment was that the pool bar was not open during our stay. The website listed hours of 10:00–18:00, and when I checked around 13:00 it was still closed. The website also mentions it is only open during the “summer season,” though the dates are not specified. Since we visited in June, we assumed it would be open, so clearer information online would be helpful. The room was comfortable overall, though it could benefit from some updates. The bathroom felt a bit dated but was perfectly functional. One of the lamps in our room did not work, and the bedroom itself could use some refreshing. The bed was comfortable, although the blanket felt a little too heavy for the room temperature. We also would have liked to try the hotel restaurant for dinner, but the menu was not available online because the link appeared to be broken, and we could not find one posted near the lobby. We ultimately decided to dine elsewhere, though we would have enjoyed giving it a try. Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. The location, views, breakfast, and pool area made for a very enjoyable stay, and with a few updates and clearer communication, the experience could be even better."
