"Das Fritz Weinhaus is an outstanding property, a nice older home that has been maintained well and/or updated nicely. Jim and Laura are amongst the best hosts we have encountered, with many small touches around the home to make our experience easier. We were joined by our three legged, 17 yr old Shih Tzu Hobbes who could not get enough of the nice weather and excellent back yard for dogs. I highly recommend this property, we will stay again as we return to Hill Country to enjoy the many local wineries."

"My husband and I did a little motorcycle trip and had a wonderful time here! The location is about halfway between Johnson City and Fredericksburg, so we were able to check out the vintage motorcycle museum and a few fun vineyards during our stay. Place was spotless and the AC worked well. The little kitchen was enough for us to make pancakes and coffee in the morning, and the patio was a great spot for lounging in the hot tub and roasting smores at night. Owners were super kind and responsive as well. 10/10, would absolutely book again. "

The cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. We appreciated all the small touches, like the bag of dog treats for our fur babies!"
