I enjoyed my stay at Bombora. Staff was nice and my room was in good condition. If you’re looking for a place that’s central and looking for just a place to sleep, this is a good option. Location is pretty central.

Great location for beach stay

We stayed 4 nights at the Bombora surf camp. Overall our stay was good, the pool is in good condition and refreshing after the beach. The room had comfy beds, a good location and AC. The only downsides would be the sliding doors to enter the room don’t close completely so geckos can get in and the bathroom/shower don’t have AC in them (so very humid). It didn’t bother us, but at night the hotel is close to a bar so we can hear music until 1-2 am.

Super friendly and helpful staff, had a great room upstairs with a view of the mountainside and nature. Not the most ideal for a business trip as there’s no desk in the Superior room, but it was perfect for our short stay! Would definitely recommend.

This place is under massive construcrtion . Pool area isnt really usable due to the noise of the demolition . They should be discounted the rate during the time they are re buiding. The location is great. staff is friendly

Amazing stay in Uluwatu

I loved staying at Bombora. The hotel is close to main road and restaurants, but still very nice and quiet. The room was nice and clean, comfy bed and excellent aircon. Staff was really nice and helpful, and pool area fantastic! Made lots of friends here during my first week in Bali.

Loved this tucked away spot! Our suite was great. Absolutely no complaints. Had a beautiful hillside view. When we initially arrived, my friend and I booked a studio for a couple of nights, and the shower water seemed to have a bit too much chlorine, but there was an outside shower by the pool that we’d use and that water seemed perfectly fine. We spent most of our time at the nearby beach.

Bed is like concrete with a tiny thin pillow like you get on a plane. No fridge to keep water cold or hair dryer. There was work going on opposite pool so felt awkward laying out. Door isn't fully sealed to room so loads of bugs get in, there were 17 spiders in the bathroom, so it was apparent it hadn't been cleaned well. More like a hostel than hotel.

The staff try & I feel they do their best with what they have. The room itself was quite dirty & below par. We found a used RAT Test (COVID) on the ground behind TV when plugging in a phone charger. In terms of noise, we were woken up on numerous times at 3-4am with people coming home. Not really recommend for a family, as this felt more of a Hostel style accommodation.

Great location, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, if sometimes a little disorganized But the room was not great. We Got put into Room 101, and a very repulsive smell was there… we told the reception the day after, and got transferred to a new room, good service. New room turned out to be without the smell, but because of poorly ventialation and badly closed doors to the bathroom in both rooms, everything got very moist. The beds were like a wet towell that couldn’t dry.. nothing to say about the service, but the rooms were not up to standards.

Sadly the Hotel is not how it looks in the pictures. The rooms Are super small and dirty. Further there was barely coming Water out of the shower so it was Impossible for me as a Woman to properly wash my hair because there was Not enough Water coming out of the shower to get the shampoo out of my hair again. Also there is a nightclub next to the Hotel wich you hear really loud through the holes in the bathroom wall. There was also no real door to close the bathroom, so this was also Not an Option against the loud music. The worst were the receptionists. The women were really unfriendly. During our stay we also recognised several people who wanted to change their rooms and Bad issues with the Hotel staff. We ourselfs rented a Scooter from the Hotel and were pressured to pay 220k at the end for some damage we didnt cause or otherwise they threaten to call the Police.

The room was consistently damp and smelt like mould with mould in the bathroom and centipede bugs all around. It was quite dirty. They then messed up my surf lesson booking 3x, and when they finally booked it they then didn’t tell the instructor I was an intermediate and bringing my own surfboard after I asked them to confirm this. The instructor then couldn’t take me out that day and also asked for extra money the next day. Worst of all, on checkout they escorted me to back to my room and pointed at a mud mark on the sheet and then tried to charge us 400k before even putting it in the wash (mind you it had been raining for 3 days). I refused to pay this as it will easily come out in the washing machine. It was also horrible customer service and made me question whether they actually wash their quilt covers after every customer. The breakfast was not very good and an extra cost. Apart from that it’s a good location and a nice pool area. I am not sure why with the amount of staff they have they don’t keep the rooms in a better cleaning condition.

Really bad condition, dirty and smelly

Unfortunately this was one of the worst places my boyfriend and I have stayed at in Bali. There is one nice woman in the reception, and that’s the only positive thing we have to say about our stay. The place itself was not in the best condition. There was construction work from early morning to late afternoon, making it very uncomfortable to hang out by the pool because of the noise. The room was in a very bad condition. The bathroom was definitely the worst. It smelled so bad, like rotten eggs, probably coming from the drain or toilet. My boyfriend and I had to buy some cologne to spray, so that we could be in our room. The floors were NOT clean and there were a lot of animals in the room. Not to mention the worms coming up from the drain in the shower… EW! If you leave your key by the front desk you are supposed to get cleaning, but this was not that easy. One day we asked for it, but when we came back, they had never even been in the room. We then went to the reception and asked for cleaning again, and even told them that they didn’t need to change our sheets or towels, just wipe the floors and take care of the nasty bathroom. 30 minutes later TWO guys walks in our rooms and leaves about 1 minute later, done cleaning. They swept all the dirt under the bed and out to the sides and they didn’t even bother going out into the bathroom?? Where there were still dead worms from yesterday laying in the middle of the floor and in the shower. AC also couldn’t cool the room down…

zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber. nachttisch wurde zb gar nicht geputzt, da waren noch sachen vom vormietwr drin... es gibt keinen täglichen reinigungsservice. overall - bett ist sehr bequem & lage top.
