Nestled in the beautiful Tonto National Forest

  • 2 Bedroom & 2 Bath Cabin with wood burning fireplace. Under the Mogollon Rim and surrounded by Tonto National Forest at an elevation of 6,000 ft. “The Ranch” is nestled among tall trees along about 7 miles of winding dirt road. This relaxing and cozy cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and is fully equipped with linens, kitchen supplies, 2 TVs, with Rokus, books, DVDs and games. “The Ranch” boasts a casual and comfortable Great Room with a spacious wrap-around deck.  The cabin is a fun and peaceful retreat for a couple, friends or small family. The Master bedroom includes a king bed and the 2nd bedroom includes a queen bed. Dog Friendly with an additional Pet Fee. BBQ and Outdoor Fire Pit for your use subject to Tonto National Forest restrictions. Sorry, No Parties. No ATVs.

My sister and I go away together for a week every year. This cabin was very quiet and relaxing. We met several of the neighbors as we were taking walks around the neighborhood. They all friendly and welcoming.

A Great Cabin in a Perfect Location

We have stayed here twice. The cabin is very roomy and comfortable and is so nicely decorated. A relaxing getaway in a quiet location.

We loved the cabin, it was so peaceful and beautiful, so clean, we cantvwait til we can come back and stsy again, i for sure will be telling my friends about this cabin, i loved the way it was decorated, there was a bird's nest on the porch. When we arrived and before we left, she had her babies out and flying.

Quiet Get Away

Great cabin with wood deck. Love indoor wood burning fire place, full kitchen and living area. Also loved outdoor fire pit. It had all the necessities for home away from home. Lots of peace and quiet. A short drive to the lakes and hiking trails.

Nice get away

Didn’t need anything except food, provided more than enough items. Even had coffee, sugar creamer. Most places don’t. Cabin is in the pines, smelled so good, decorated American and country. Enjoyed cooler weather and evening showers. Host is very nice always available to communicate. Nice place to stay.

A Perfect Getaway Week

Our recent stay at "The Ranch" at Mead Ranch wonderful, as it was a perfect blend of activity and down time. From this cozy cabin as our "home base", my wife and I were able to mountain bike, go horseback riding, play pickleball, explore the Tonto Natural Bridge area, antique shop, and simply relax on the porch with our favorite hot or cold drink. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our 5-day stay, complete with any amenity we would need, and the peaceful location was far enough in the woods to provide a temporary escape from our hectic lives. The property owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had ahead of time, and we're already looking forward to another visit in the near future.

Thank you Janet for the wonderful welcome and stay! It is very close to many hiking trails throughout.I would recommend putting some reflector lights or a sign of some sort where the dip is by the water runoff. The left side of the camper near the trash can area, is hard to see that dip when backing up.We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing outdoor area. Lots of stargazing at night time as well! Loralee

Had a great weekend off the grid. Cabin is so close to the Mogollon Rim and we spent the weekend exploring! Wonderful place to return to at the end of the day. Fully equipped kitchen and wonderful outdoor deck with grill. Very quiet neighborhood. A great place to relax!

Very well equipped home with nothing missing. Nicely decorated and the setting is lovely. It was cold and snowy but eventually warmed up for taking walks. The internet never was usable…possibly weather related.

Very enjoyable stay…

The property was very complete and in a very quiet neighborhood. The county maintained roads to the property off of Highway 260 were in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Great cabin in the woods

The cabin is in a beautiful forested area! Enjoyed our morning walks and our dog loved playing with the local ranch dog that patrols the community. The Americana/Farmhouse decor is very cute and the cabin is well stocked with the essentials.
