We really enjoyed our stay overall. The place has a great atmosphere, the service is excellent, and everything is thoughtfully designed. This place is just magical. I was a bit suspicious of the No Walls concept because I was worried about insects and spiders coming into the room. But no issues at all!! They maintain excellent cleanliness cleaning at least twice a day and closing curtains that act as walls from the evening onwards. Meanwhile you go to sleep and awake to the sounds of the . There was a terrible chainsaw going on every day for hours disturbing the peaceful environment from local villagers cutting down trees on the opposite side of the valley. Bale 3 is next to the inclinator moving luggage and cargo up and down which again is very irritating. ALL employees are extremely helpful and kind , accommodating anything you ask for l. The bales (we change three due to noise) are outstanding !

This is a magnificent resort in an isolated area of ubud. You feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest and have the whole resort to yourself. Unbelievably good service and really enjoyable food. Highly recommend a stay here for around 3-4 days

I had the pleasure of staying at Buahan Banyan Tree Escape. Everything was truly outstanding — the room, the trekking experience, yoga, spa, restaurant, and especially the warm hospitality of the staff. I was particularly touched by the exceptional service from Concierge Budi and the manager. I will definitely be back again soon.

標榜沒有門沒有窗的度假村, 位在烏布的山上, 四周自然環境佳, 在那裡住二天, 一點都不想出去, 每天悠閒的起居在其間, 一天包二餐, 70%是當地的蔬食, 廚房每天都能變出花樣, 起床便是每眼綠意, 蟲鳴鳥叫, 也不覺得會有蚊蟲, 房間雖然對外, 但很乾淨, 床舖也舒服, 沒有因為沒有牆而覺得潮濕. 一切都如此美好, 回歸到與自然結合的生活, 很難忘的經驗.

A place where memories are made.

This is a fantastic experience. From the minute you arrive, every member of staff goes out there way to make your stay special. The bale was perfect and very comfortable. The attention to detail was amazing. Pool area was lovely and iced water and cool towels were a lovely touch. Food is up there with Michelin star restaurants. Overall a perfect stay.

Exceptional Experience

Amazing hotel, with an exceptional customer service which pays attention to details. The Location of the hotel is extremely nice and isolated from the crowds of Ubud. The room panoramic views are unbelievable. I have been to several Banyan Tree properties in the past, but this exceeded all expectations.

Beautiful hotel with truly exceptional service from start to finish. Some dinner courses were a bit lacking in flavor, while the main dish never disappointed. A small downside was the pool, which is not heated in all the villas.

The entire team is super friendly, caring, and attentive. From check-in at the pavilion and then being escorted to the villa, from daily activity bookings to in-room services, its dining experience. Of course we booked this property for its natural beautiful surroundings. It was a memorable 4-nights retreat, highly recommended!

We’re a couple of foodies who love quality cocktails and this place just blew our minds. Pretty much everything is locally sourced, which is bonkers considering the huge amount of creations coming from the kitchen and bar. Thanks to chef Sheandy, Arsana (bar) and Budi (butler) for making this an unforgettable experience. Would definitely come back in a heartbeat 10/10
