Play Paros is a somewhat easy walk from the ferry port, if your suitcase isn't too big. It's a flat, bumpy 1/2 mile. The hotel is well located near the town's center, across the street from a small public swimming beach. There was a transportation strike going on in Athens, so the ferries were off schedule, which disrupted our travels also. Caterina at Play Paros was a huge help in reorganizing our lodging so we could stay an extra night until the strike crap was over. FYI--we lost hundreds of dollars because of the transportation strikes that occurred while we were in Greece. In 3 weeks there were 2 strikes causing us to miss reservations and excursions with NO refunds because of short notice. I guess buy travel insurance or expect to lose money in Greece. Anyway, Caterina was great, she personally met us for a late check-in, the room was clean and quiet even though the street is busy. Location was great. Cons: Our balcony faced a vacant parking lot, the swimming pool is beautiful but unheated, so not warm enough to get into in October. No food/drink options within the hotel.

Se potessi dare 10 stelle ⭐️ le darei perché sono davvero meritate! L’hotel si trova in una posizione molto tranquilla vicina a ristoranti, negozi e a soli 10 minuti di camminata dal porto e dal centro di Parikia. Camera sempre pulita con cambio giornaliero di asciugamani. Lo staff dell’hotel Johanna, Noemi, Maria e Caterina sono davvero fantastiche , gentilissime e sempre molto disponibili a dare consigli e preziosi suggerimenti sui luoghi da visitare. Cosa dire di più? La mia vacanza in questo hotel è stata davvero stupenda e non vedo l’ora di tornare al più presto!

The property is RIGHT on the beach, you can take about 10 steps and you'll be on the sand. The property has a pleasant staff which were very helpful and informative. The room was a bit smaller than expected and would be a good fit for 1 big luggage. It's a small walk from the Port so it was easy to get to without using a taxi (and circumventing the insane traffic at the Port when the ferries come). Lots of restaurants and stores nearby, we also had a pool view below and it was pretty quiet with some people only lounging by and reading. It was also very convenient to not have to use a key, but they give you a code to get into the property and to get into the room. Would recommend Play Paros.

We booked a room with a balcony looking over the harbor and it was well worth it. The sunsets in the evening were beautiful. The hotel seems to have been recently updated to modernize the space, but it gives off more of a hostel feel than a hotel even though all rooms are private with en suite bathrooms. The staff was absolutely wonderful - friendly, warm and accommodating. Katerina was a wonderful host helping us to select dinner options and letting me borrow an iron when needed before dinner. I would stay here again - it was well priced for the amenities, but the team and location really made this an exceptional stay for us.

Loved that this property was within walking distance of the port. Facilities were great! Pool was awesome and there was a small beach literally across the road. Only downsides were the overpowering air freshener in the room that was being used to mask the smell of sewerage. Also, I had a room that faced the street. It’s quite a busy street that got a little noisy. Try to get a room that faces the pool if you can.

Super séjour dans un hôtel récent

Nous avons passé 4 jours au Play. Lhotel est très récent, magnifiquement décoré, la piscine est a l'abri du vent et le plus gros : les personnes qui y travaillent. Elles vous appellent par votre prénom, ont toujours un mot gentil ou une recommandation à donner. Elles sont adorables ! Je recommande vivement

We had a junior suite with a balcony in living room and bedroom overlooking the beach/water/sunset and another window overlooking the sunrise in the east. The staff were super friendly, gave excellent advice on shopping, restaurants and things to do. Highly recommend this location and this hotel

Hotel muy agradable, buena ubicación, el personal súper amable. Lo que menos me ha gustado es el desayuno, no es en el propio hotel, está en una cafetería restaurante al lado.
