"From booking to check out everything was great. Room was super clean and comfortable and we loved the extra treats in our room 😊 so close to a bar/restaurant and gas station. The restaurant next door has great food and service too! Only thing to mention is there is no sign by the road so we did pass it the 1st time. But would stay here again. "This older house made us feel at home. The view over the lake is amazing. We got a perfect view of a double rainbow from the hot tub. The fenced yard allowed us to bring our dogs making the trip that much easier. "This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK."

This is the best location in town and if it rains you can cozy up to the fireplace and still watch the Ore Dock and lake through the large windows. "We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our stay! Our stay far exceeded our expectations! Robin was an amazing hostess and shared many things to do and see in the area. The cabin was impeccable. Our teenager and friend loved their own personal space in the loft. The deck and lakefront were perfect for stargazing and relaxation. "Great family accomodations for our 7 overnight family members and 2 to 3 daytime guests. The lakeside cabin is beautifully set with a great view of lake. Cabin very well supplied. We also enjoyed row boating ( there was canoe also) and fishing out on the lake and campfire around the nice firepit area outside. Owner were very accomodating and promptly responded to any questions we had."

"It's a super cute cottage and just the thing we were looking for. Located really near many restaurants and other attractions and easy to get to no matter what direction you come from. "Attentive staff and immaculate property. Great little breakfast bar with everything you need for a quick start. The welcome dog in the lobby was a bonus for a dog lover like me. Grocery store with Caribou coffee across the street and then it’s a quick run to all the great stuff to do at the waterfront. This is a great option and I will be back."
