Pros: The staff was very friendly and there were no cleanliness issues. The breakfast was decent and had plenty of food. My sister and I enjoyed the pool one day. Cons: the property as a whole was not well maintained. It looked like it was suffering under heavy use. The hotel as a whole is looking outdated and long overdue for a remodel. Our room looked nothing like the online photos. The first thing we discovered is our room had only two outlets. One was near the TV, the other was behind the head of one of the beds and you had to pull the bed out to access it. We were three adults that had phones and laptops that needed to be charged. One of us used a CPAP at night and it was difficult to get access to plug it in without an extension cord. I asked for a power strip and an extension cord at the front desk. They found a power strip but not a cord, so we had to go buy one. The coffee maker wasn't even plugged in because the cord on it wasn't long enough to reach an outlet you would have had to set it on the floor to use it! The sliding door lock/handle mechanism and lock bar were wore out and barely worked. The tub faucet was not securely attached to the wall. The bathroom didn't have cold water. It was oddly warmer than lukewarm. The room service is only every 3 days. There was a gate to access the parking lot but it was in disrepair and served only to slow people down. The price was good but as is the case most of the time, you get what you pay for.

The cleanliness was good throughout all areas of the resort, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and quick to assist. However, my main complaints are the following: There was an unexpected additional charge upon arrival, and the rooms are in serious need of renovation. The overall condition of the room made it feel more like a budget motel than a resort, especially considering how expensive the stay was. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and not suitable for a good night’s sleep. The photos make the water slide area look like one of the resort’s main attractions, but upon arrival, I discovered that access to that specific area requires an additional fee. This was disappointing, as I expected more amenities to be included in the price. Other, more reputable resorts offer much more for a similar price, including amenities that are already covered in the cost of the stay. Additionally, the food at the on-site restaurants and the convenience store is excessively expensive. My recommendation is to look for another resort in the same price range. Considering the cost, the extra fees, the condition of the rooms, and the overpriced food, this resort did not meet my expectations. Overall, I would not recommend this resort, and I would not stay here again.
