While the hotel was perfectly pleasant with a moody, rustic vibe, we had some trouble with reception. We very much enjoyed the service of the gentleman behind the desk, and of Dounia, the Guest Relations Manager, but we had significant trouble with one girl at reception who did not seem at all empathetic to struggles we had during our stay, and proceeded to act significantly rude and flippant to us after our first interaction.
We received bad attitude from her every step of the way. When a fire alarm went off, and we walked down five flights of stairs to evacuate, she laughed off the situation and explained it as the kitchen “trying something.”
Additionally, upon check out, it seemed we were charged twice for a bottle of wine and they did not believe me until I showed them the double charge on a printed out bill.
Had it not been for this one reception worker, we would have had a perfectly pleasant stay, however due to her attitude and behavior I could not recommend this hotel.
