Good place to stay

Fabulous place to stay. Staff were welcoming and very helpful especially Alam who served breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel and would certainly return.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Convenient location being only 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord But very no frills. Don’t expect a kettle / aircon / fridge / safe. Couldn’t comment on the breakfast as did room only.

The EST hotel is an excellent place for visitors who plan to be out and about most of the time. The location is fairly central and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. The hotel rooms are not fancy, but the beds are comfortable, the bathroom is super clean and the staff was extremely helpful.

The hotel is in a walking distance from Gare du Nord and 4 mins away from two tube stations which was excellent. Hotel is modern and very clean, staff helpful and friendly. We had a family room with a seperate one for our child attached to ours. We loved our stay and would definitely go back!

Good price, near of 2 different stations metro line, and 2 train station (east and north). Very small room, and bathroom compare to North American standard. But comparable to any hotel in Parid. Very Clean, and great Staff.

Cozy hotel in Paris

The location is very convenient, only few mins walk to Gare du Est. The lobby is very decent. The room including toilet is unexpectedly spacious compared to other similar price hotels I have stayed in Paris. The room is clean and neat. They offered 2 bottle la of water everyday.

Noisy. We could hear the conversation in the next room. Did not refill coffee, sugar from day to day. Soap dispenser at the sink did not work, despite bottle being full. On the better side, the bed was very comfortable.

Great 3 star hotel in good location

Wanted a good 3 star hotel close to Gare du Nord but within walking distance to the River Seine and the Est hotel seemed like a good option. All staff were friendly with me being an English speaker and even humoured me with my attempts of speaking French. The room was fine to use as basecamp and met all my requirements. One good thing is you gove your keys at reception every time you leave so no need to worry about loosing them whilst exploring.

Overall decent

We arrived in the morning after an overnight flight and were able to store our luggage until check in which was great! We were able to freshen up in the lobby bathroom. The window opened in our room for a breeze which was nice, especially at night. However one of the twin beds was just about rock hard and I was not able to sleep. No fridge or microwave in the room, however that wasn't an issue for us.

Reception smelled amazing.

The reception in this hotel smelt amazing and the rooms seemed very clean and well serviced. The hotel was also only about 10 minutes from gare du Nord so is perfect for the Eurostar and travelling throughout central Paris. The only thing I would point out negatively was that the staircase made me feel a little nervous as the rails weren’t that high, and the windows opened out fully on the landing which made me quite nervous with a 6 year old. There is a landing where you don’t need to pass that part so may be worth mentioning if travelling with children or asking specifically for a lower floor. Other than that a great hotel and really reasonable.

The staff was very nice; however, there is no security in picking up your key every time you return to the hotel, so you could ask for any room key and they don’t request any photo ID. The property advertises that the rooms are sound proof, however, there is nothing soundproof in them. We were laying in bed and could literally hear the people showering in the room next to us. We could also hear their entire conversation word for word in the people next to our room and in the hall.

We stayed here for 1 night while waiting for flight the following day. It was walking distance to Gare de l’Est which I saw when I was waiting for my bus the following morning. Our room consists of 1 main bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 separate room with a twin bed. Both rooms have small balcony. I can see people enjoying this during nice days. The smaller room light switch was not working but lamps did. The washroom was spacious, hand soap and body wash were provided. There is also a table and chair, cabinet to hang your coat. We didn’t know how to change temperature but the heater was hot. I don’t think there is air conditioning, thus fan is provided. There were a lot of boulangerie nearby and that’s what I did in the morning. CON: No light on the sign outside so very hard to see at night. Also be aware of the bicycle lane in front of the hotel - these cyclists are crazy and cycle very fast
