Apartment is as advertised and the host was very responsive. We appreciated being able to check in a couple of hrs early. Very clean, and while it is sparse on amenities (esp the kitchen- stove doesn’t work), we managed well. Nice central location, safe area and metro and easy access to several attractions.
This is a very nice apartment that has two bedrooms and two showers, each in its own bedroom. There is one shared toilet. There is an eat-in kitchen that is well stocked, which opens to a spacious living room. It is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood in the 6th that has grocery stores, bakeries, a pharmacy, and other stores right nearby. It is very close to several Metro stops and a 10 minute walk to the Montparnasse station. The owner was very responsive, both before and during our stay, and the check-in process was very easy. The only improvement I would suggest is to put some light "voile" curtains in the bedrooms and living rooms. Currently, there are only very thick curtains, so if you want privacy from the outside, the closed curtains make the apartment very dark. Other than that, it was excellent!
I stayed for three weeks, with a rotating group of friends and family that stopped through. The most we had was four of us at the apartment, which was a little tight but fine. We DId use the pull out sofa (but I bought extra pillows, sheets, and comforter to so so). You can buy all of that at the super-marches down the street..one either direction.
Location is perfect. We were all over the city and it was very easy to get anywhere either walking or metro. Isabelle was very responsive and the check-in and out was easy.
The kitchen layout was very efficient and easy. Everything you need is there: nespresso machine, toaster, electric kettle, cooktop stove (inducton). Washer and dryer is combined and usually required finished drying on the clothes rack we found in the closet. Recommend you do smaller loads as they will dry more and require less rack time. Thanks for the great stay!!
Cozy, clean holiday apartment with Nespresso machine in the 6th arrondissement. An ideal starting point for activities in Paris in all directions. The Eiffel Tower is a 30-minute walk away. The Duroc metro station (10 + 13) is a 2-minute walk away. The 4 of us felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment during the 7 days we spent there, despite the lack of storage space (so we lived out of suitcases). There are no shelves in the cupboards. Access to the apartment via the narrow staircase may be a problem for tall, strong people. We highly recommend the apartment due to the price, the furnishings and the great location. From the Sèvres-Babylone (lines 10 and 12), Vaneau (line 10) and Duroc (lines 10 and 13) metro stations, exits lead directly to Rue de Sèvres. – In the immediate vicinity of its south-western end there is also the Sèvres-Lecourbe station (line 6).Tip: Buy a weekly metro ticket for your mobile phone. 7 days €30.75 via Ill de Franc app. 1 day ticket costs €11.60 for 3 zones
We had a fantastic stay in Paris. While the loft is small, it really is a great value for the location. Everything worked fine in the apartment, and the washer/dryer was a great feature. The neighborhood is vibrant but quiet at night. Several supermarkets are close by, and the Duroc metro entrance is about 100 yds away. Thanks for a great vacation!
Nice host, very welcoming and the location of the loft is excellent.Space is large for Paris, but limited as expected. Nothing to complain here. However, the very basic ameties were missing, that made our stay feel like camping. For the price, you would expect more, like enough toilet paper for the stay.Overall, could be better with some adjustments but a nice place to stay.
It was small but very organized and close to metro lines. I really enjoyed my stay. My only problem was checking in. I had trouble finding the mail l box that the was in and then I it took me awhile to figure out how the outside door opened to the street from the inside. I was very jet lagged, but maybe labeling the the mailbox just a little more clearly would have helped and directions to push the button to get out to the street would be helpful.

It is in a great location close to a great metro station with 2 lines. there is a grocery store and a great bakery about a block away. The apartment is sparsely equipped. There was no toilet paper, one dish towel, chipped coffee cups, very inexpensive towels, etc. The apartment is on a very busy street which is noisy. I have stayed in a lot of apartment rentals and this was sadly below average.

Great neighborhood /comfy clean secure apt
This apartment was comfy, clean and very secure for two friends, celebrating their birthdays in Paris. Would have liked to keep in touch better with the host since we needed to find linens for the couch , were provided only two towels per person and We were there almost 10 days and instructions for using the dishwasher. The washer dryer and the TV would’ve helped. Also, we couldn’t get the heat to turn on. .it was cute, comfy , the beds were great and in a lovely neighborhood with everything you could want right on the same street. A bit more Communication with better instructions is a suggestion for the future

Misrepresentation of rental property!
On December 2019 we agreed to rent an apartment in Paris in Notre-Dame des Champs, near the Vaneau metro station, on the .'first ' floor, or so we were told.
On June 2022 we arrived to a l'Échaudé sreet apartment on the 'third' floor, accessible only after 3 flights of stairs and another interior staircase to reach the living room and kitchen. The apartment did not match the photos shown on VRBO listing. In addition there were problems with the apartment: a loose faucet in the toilet room along with no towels and towel hanger to dry our hands, a loose door knob on the main entrance door easily dislodged, a toaster requiring a lot of force to engage, a TV with French stations only, no hair dryer, lack of space in rooms to put your toiletries. The adequate compact kitchen was lacking cups for the coffee. We never saw our proprietors, Emails sent regarding the faucet and doornob were not answered. However they did brought a kitchen towel and washing soap that was left at the front door in response to a phone call request. Overall we felt that the l'Échaudée apartment was not the apartment we saw in the VRBO listing, especially with respect to the multiple long staircases required to reach the apartment, far more then 'the private entrance steps' describe by the owner, not to mention the interior staircase between the bedrooms / toilet and the kitchen/living room.
- [ ] No communication before arriving. Didn’t respond to our emails, had a mistake, and sent us the wrong apartment. If we weren’t aware she could’ve sent us to the wrong place.
- [ ] We weren’t aware of the huge amount of STAIRS at the entrance
- [ ] Apartment has a BAD SMELL
- [ ] Wi-Fi doesn’t work
- [ ] The beds are dirty, sheets aren’t clean
- [ ] Towels are dirty with leftovers of HAIR
- [ ] There is hair all over the room - in the sing, on the floor, on the bed, and on towels
- [ ] Toilet is tiny and has no place to move
- [ ] water were cold in the shower
Madam Collin’s cozy flat on Rue de Sevres is a very well located and equipped base for your Parisian experience. The flat is a very short walk to the metro (Duroc) and bus stops, with shops, including several patisseries, cafes, and a supermarché to supply your needs. It is also well located for those leisurely walks to various sites. While small by American standards we found the two room flat to work well for two couples traveling together. The kitchen was well equipped to meet our early morning coffee/breakfast needs. We generally ate lunch and dinner out. The flat may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, as there is a relatively narrow stairway. Madame Collin was a responsive host, quickly responding to questions prior to and during our stay. When we return to Paris, we’ll look to book this apartment again.
El apartamento está bien y muy bien situado. Las camas cómodas el menaje correcto, en general todo muy bien. Hemos pasado unos días estupendos!
Gracias.
Absolutely lovely, conveniently located (market and metro down a block and a nice little bar for breakfast across the street). I hope to stay again before the owner realizes that it's under-priced for the quality she offers. It'd be well worth renting for the 6 day minimum, even if you only stay a couple or three nights, given the rack rate for Parisian hotels.
