I really liked this apart-hotel, the bedrooms were large, especially for Paris, and there was plenty space in the apartment to spread out. I booked the l’Amande suite (room 101) because I wanted 2 proper bedrooms (rather than one proper bed and a sofa bed) but on the web site and on hotels.com there is no mention that the second room is separate from the main suite, meaning you access it through the main hallway/corridor. If you have young children that cannot be left alone overnight this might be problematic. My kids were okay, being 12 and 14, but I was still a little concerned. There is a sofa bed option in the main room so the entire suite can actually sleep up to 6. Otherwise, we found the stay very pleasant. I would bring your own toiletries - shampoo and shower gel - as the ones provided really were not sufficient. There are lots of places to eat nearby but Be You is in Pigalle so expect the sex shops and clubs to be on your doorstep too. We loved the area and proximity to Montmartre, I marked it down on the rating only because the area may not suit everyone, especially young families. It is central and we walked everywhere though the metro is only a minute away (Blanche). The Moulin Rouge is at the end of the street and if you walk to the the of the block and turn right, the cafe (Deux Moulins) featured in the film Amelie is right there! Such a lovely surprise as I’m a huge fan of the film!! If you’re a couple I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.
