This exquisite apartment (6 guests, 2 bedrooms) is located in a typical Montmartre building, in rue d’Orchampt, one of the highest rated streets in Montmartre, a small and quiet street featuring many romantic artists studios. Close to Bateau Lavoir.

The apartment was designed with love and taste by the owner and comfortably sleep up to 6 guests (2 double beds & a comfortable sofa bed).

Neighborhood:

Montmartre is a village within Paris: it combines the atmosphere of an ancient village with trendy shops and fabulous restaurants. Many artists and movie stars live in the district. It is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

As you walk through Montmartre you will pass many winding and picturesque streets with fascinating houses, stairs and wonderful views over Paris. Look for the Montmartre Vineyard, walk to 'Place du Tertre' where artists will offer to draw your portrait and see Picasso’s house and the Salvador Dali museum. Visit the famous Sacre Coeur Moorish-looking church.

On the 'Rue des Abbesses' you will discover shops, cafes and clothing stores and in 'Rue Lepic' you will come across the market, wine shops - the cheese shop was rated n° 3 in France – bakeries and charcuteries. It’ll take a few days to select your preferred “café” !!! Walk down to the Moulin Rouge and experience the Paris nightlife.

The apartment is located on the top floor of a one floor building (1 flight of stairs, no elevator) constructed in the 1900s and offers a beautiful view over Paris and the tour Eiffel.

Entering the apartment, one is overwhelmed by the light and the views over Paris roofs and the tour Eiffel. It gives a home feeling right away, as if one were both in Paris and at the countryside at the same time, thanks also to the presence of the nice Jardin Louise Weber just below the apartment windows.

One enters in the wooden floored living/dining room. It has 3 windows. It is furnished with a comfortable convertible sofa bed and a table that sits 6 guests. Decoration is subtile (paints, objects, library, furniture) and colors are carefully chosen.

The kitchen is open on the living/dining room, fully equipped including dishwasher.

Coming from the living/dining room, one enters the master bedroom. It offers a comfortable double bed which has direct view over Paris and the Eiffel tower. It is equipped with a large closet and linked to the bathroom and second bedroom. A flat TV screen is facing the double bed.

The second bedroom is en suite to the Master bedroom. It is equipped with two comfortable single beds which can easily be converted in a double bed. It also offers a window with a beautiful view over Paris and the below garden.

The bathroom is also en suite to the master bedroom. It is equipped with a tiled shower, sink, mirror and closet.

Toilets are separate (but inside the apt).

The Champs-Elysees is only a ten-minute Metro ride; the Eiffel Tower, Le Marais, Les Halles, and Saint-Germain are all between 15- 20 minutes from Abbesses.
