「The communication about the layout of the property could have been better. There is no internal access to the downstairs rooms. There is no WIFI - in this day and age - you really should have WIFI (especially for when the weather is inclement in Golden Bay - which is often is). The TV is just a screen to play DVD's - there is no channel service. We weren't told you can't drink the water until the morning we got the check-in instructions - it was Easter Friday - so we couldn't buy bottled...

「We had a wonderful weekend at the Alpaca farm. The eco-cabin is really comfortable and easy to feel at home in. The jacuzzi is really nice. The garden, the scenery and the animals are incredible: you feel like you've stepped out of time. The breakfast is very good, even if the time at which it is served is fixed (no change possible). 「We had a nice time in Takaka and exploring the area. Comfy beds and a good size place for a family holiday. The house and surrounding gardens needed a bit of TLC. It wasn't as clean as we would have hoped. Just needs a bit of a spruce - cobwebs definitely need to be swept away! Probably wouldn't choose to stay here again unfortunately.」
