Fantastic holiday….

We had a fabulous holiday, it was the perfect location for us, a stroll to the town & a nice walk to the beach. The villa was exactly as described, clean, tidy & well equipped. Communication with Katie & owner was great! Thanks for a wonderful time, we will be back in the near future.

Lovely Villa

We really enjoyed our stay in this villa, it was tastefully decorated and the aircon worked really well thank goodness as we hit a heatwave. Pool was a good size and we liked that there was plenty of sun and shade in the outside areas all throughout the day so this suited the sun worshipers and shade dwellers alike. The Owners and the local team were very responsive and seemed willing to do their utmost to ensure we enjoyed our stay in Cyprus. Thanks Katie and co.

3 week stay

Just got back from a three week holiday in this lovely Villa, the check in arrangements were straight forward and the communication with 'spot on' was second to none. Immediately answering any quesions we had and even came round to the villa within minutes when the pool needed some treatment and this was even on a sunday...nothing was too much trouble for them and the welcome basket etc.. was grately appreciated and a nice touch. All instructions were easy to follow. The villa was in a quiet location but a short walk 10 to 15 mins to the nearest bar/restaurant. The pool was adequate size and depth for a family of 4 but could do with a bit of tlc namely new tiles and fixing a small leak. Hopefully this will be done over the winter months which will make the villa even better. All the in door equipment was working and Netflix provided us with some movie nights which again was appreciated. I would suggest maybe an upgrade is considered around the music system though as the only option was a radio player from the 90s and since i didnt bring my CD and tape collection we were just limited to the radio. I did buy a Bluetooth speaker for 20 euros so again wasnt an issue. Overall fantastic stay and wouldnt think twice in recommending the place especially with 'Spot On' looking after you.....thank you

Nice Villa

We found communication to be great and the checkin process to be very easy. The villa was clean, light and spacious. It was comfortable and had everything you needed, including a few goodies, which were very welcome after a long trip "Thank you"! Sadly, we were disappointed to discover the main bedroom overlooked a construction site. We were woken at 7am every morning to the sound of diggers, pilers, steam rollers and tipper trucks, dumping dusty hardcore directly outside the back of the villa. Consequently, we were unable to enjoy lounging by the pool due to the noise disturbance and filthy dust.We did let the management know, as I felt it was something that clients should be warned about before paying for an expensive week away. Sadly, there was no apology as a result of making them aware. The weather was perfect, but found the pool to be too cold for us. On the one day we did decided to stay by the pool, due to it's position, and large garden shrubs, it was in the shade most of the day. I am sure it would be very welcome during the hotter midsummer months, but not great for September. A point to note, the bedroom TV did not work and the shower needed a good clean and drain needed clearing. The beaches, restaurants and bars were wonderful, & very easy to walk to. We were never disappointed. A good villa in a great location, but not perfect on this occasion which is why I gave 4 stars.

Fantastic place for a vacation. 5 stars all day long. Had this villa a sea view then I would have given 6 stars. Everything was at our disposal and they have thought of all details. Easy and fast to reach the personal in charge whom we found vey polite, cooperative and helpful day and night.

Lovely villa in Penera a little bit quiet for us but a lovely villa

Great communication with hosts always happy to help and offer lots of information on where to visit and how to get there and always on hand to help. Lovely villa the location was good although quiet but not too far to the nearest shops and strip where you could find lots of restaurants and shops also has a great bus service into fig tree bay and Protarus which is beautiful and buzzing at all times of the day

A lovely holiday in sunny Cyprus

The villa was clean and tidy and beds were fairly comfortable. The location was great and near shops & restaurants. The supermarkets only a 5 min or so drive. We highly recommend the windmill pub & knights pub nearby. Swimming pool was nice & clean but a bit smaller than we thought. Overall could do with a little updating and the building works going on behind were a bit of a surpise, although they weren't really too noisy, just here & there, but didn't really bother us overall. The owners were lovely and very helpful when we needed them. A must visit is fig tree bay absolutely stunning.

Fantastic stay in Shivali Villa, Protaras

We stayed in Shivali Villa for a week and I can only say good things about it. When we arrived there was a superb welcome pack which meant we didn't need to worry ourselves with shopping with the first couple of days. The cleanliness of the villa was fantastic when we arrived as well. We all enjoyed having the free WiFi which meant that we could access the internet whenever we liked during our stay. The location of the villa is also great because it is in a cul-de-sac which offers peace and quiet and gives you the perfect environment for chilling out by the pool, sunbathing, having a bbq etc. Overall a very enjoyable stay, service from the owner was brilliant,he was very helpful and prompt at replying. It was like home away from home. I would highly recommend this villa,and will defiantly book again. K. Parmar (July 2011)

Fantastic villa, we will return!

Just returned from a week’s holiday to Shivali Villa and we didn’t want to come home! The villa itself is beautiful. Very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything that you could need is available, and the welcome pack of wine, bread, cheese, milk, water and other essentials was a lovely addition. The villa is located in a quiet location just by the main strip of Pernera. We had a hire car so mainly went into Protaras every night but we spent a few evenings at Knights Bar, Mojitos and Blue Spice in Pernera, all of which we loved. Hire car is not essential as the villa is within walking distance to Pernera shops, bars & restaurants and the beaches. The villa owner and agents in Cyprus have all been very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a holiday to this villa, perfect for couples, friends or families!

The villa is excellent, spacious, spotless and has everything you need. It's location is great also. 5-10 min walk to Pernera and 5 min drive to Protaras. However the villa is backed onto a building site where work starts at 0645 EVERY day including weekends. The noise wakes you up and there is a layer of dust over the sun beds, eating area and any clothes you wash daily, regardless of cleaning it every day. Also with the guys on site working above you a matter of meteres away , there is a privacy issue. Don't get me wrong the villa is amazing and obviously the owners have no control over works going on outwith their property but I would be lying if i didn't say it impacted my holiday. Did it ruin it ? No, but getting woke up before 7 every day on holiday isn't ideal. I just feel its better to give an honest review so people know what to expect. Would i stay at the vill again? Yes, but only after the construction wourk is finished in a few years time.

The villa was clean, well-equipped and is in a great location - a few shops, restaurants and beach all within walking distance. It's around a 15 minute drive to Protaras and Ayia Napa with plenty of things to do and see.The owners were kind enough to sort out a food delivery as we were arriving late which was very much appreciated and there are clear instructions for the villa and plenty of suggestions and recommendations of what to do and where to eat.The villa itself is a great size, clean and well-equipped. Having said that the bathrooms are rather cramped and have very little storage for toiletries. The shower in the en-suite could do with a deep clean or refresh. The outside area is smaller than we're used to and we had to play musical sunbeds throughout the day to catch the sunny areas. The pool remained in shade for most of the day (maybe due to the time of year – late September) which meant it didn’t warm up at all but it was still nice to be able to have a refreshing dip in throughout the day. (The pictures of the outside area are years old as the trees and shrubs are much taller now).I appreciate that this is out of the control of the owners, and they did forewarn us, but the construction work going on just a few metres (literally just over the fence) from the Villa definitely impacted our holiday. Work began every morning at 6am and finished at 5pm. The machinery was very loud and everything got covered in dust. Hopefully this will be completed by next year?

Schöne Villa in guter Lage

Haben 10 tolle Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht. Wir waren zu dritt in dem grossen Haus. Auch für 6 Personen ausreichend groß. Die Bäder sind zwar nicht groß aber da zwei vorhanden sind kann man sich gut aufteilen. Zusätzlich hat man ja auch noch ein Gäste WC. Das Bett hat eine gute Matratze was für ein Schwergewicht wie ich eins bin sehr wichtig ist. Das Internet ist ausreichend schnell um deutsches Fernsehen über einen Firestick zu streamen. Die Couch ist schön groß und bequem. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet nur die Pfannen sollten vielleicht bald erneuert werden. Die Villa liegt in einem relativ neu erbauten Wohnviertel. Im angrenzenden Bereich wir zwar gebaut, das hat uns aber nicht besonders gestört. Zum Einkaufen am besten zum nahe gelegenen Lidl oder Metro. Ein Mietwagen ist unbedingt zu empfehlen um die tollen Strände zu erkunden. Der Pool wurde täglich gereinigt und die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war super. Die Unterkunft ist absolut zum empfehlen.

A superb property close to beach, bars, restaurants and shops.

We have just returned from a great 10 days in this lovely "home from home" villa. Right from the start communication with the owner has been prompt and helpful. Lovely welcome pack (including wine) in the fridge when we arrived at night which was greatly appreciated. The agent also came to visit on Day 1 ensuring we had everything we needed. The pool was cleaned/filled twice during our stay, and when we had a small issue with the air-con not working, the repair guys were out that day to solve it. Villa was well equipped, clean and modern. We are a family of 4 and found the villa to be very spacious, and there was plenty outdoor space to move the sunbeds around ensuring optimum tanning! Pool was perhaps slightly smaller than it looks in the photos, but it was perfect for general playing around in and cooling off. We had a hire car and found it useful for exploring other areas - Ayia Napa and the lovely Nissi Beach is just a 20min drive away. We also took a drive to the Water Park but our kids (aged 12 and 10) didn't rate it compared to Siam Park in Tenerife! The villa is situated in a quiet residential area, and there is a sandy beach and harbour with boat trips within walking distance. The centre of Pernera is a 5 - 10min walk and has plenty restuarants, bars and "beach shops". We found it to be quite quiet in October and so often took a short taxi ride into the busier bigger Protaras in the evenings. Lidl and Fig Tree Bay are also in Protaras. Fig Tree Beach is just beautiful with turquoise water and great water sport facilities. Our first trip to Cyprus has been excellent, and the villa was every bit as good as we had hoped.

Amazing Villa

Recently returned from a week’s holiday to Shivali Villa and can't rate this Villa enough. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need to make it home from home. Lovely decor, air con and superb swimming pool. The welcome pack when we arrived was a lovely surprise so we didnt have to rush out and buy anything. We had milk, water, ,butter, jam, bread, cheese, eggs and a bottle of wine. The Villa is set in a quite area of Pernera and is walking distance into the town where we had some lovely meals and drinks. We spent a few nights in Knights Bar, my partner even bought a teeshirt lol. Also its not far from Protaras, we hired a car which was a good idea and great for tootling around we found some lovely beaches whilst we were there, Konnis, Pernera, Fig Tree Bay and went down to Cape Grego, ideal if on holiday as couples to hire Buggies. Overall a fantastic holiday and would recommend Mr Chavda and his Villa for a great holiday. .

Relaxing stay in Shivali Villa

We stayed at Shivali villa for 2 weeks this August. We are a family of four with 2 teenagers and were looking for somewhere to have a nice relaxing holiday. We certainly found it here. The villa was exactly as described on the website and because it was near the end of a cul-de-sac it was also private. The free wifi was excellent, as was the air conditioning. The pool was kept nice & clean and the welcome hamper was useful. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the outdoor BBQ and the sun loungers surrounding the pool were also good. Dealing with the owner was really straightforward, he answered all emails promptly and I felt that he genuinely wanted us to have a nice holiday, we which did.

'Shivali Villa' and our stay

We arrived and found the villa to be very clean, well prepared, maintained and spacious beyond the impression given in the photos. The welcome pack provided for our arrival was extremely well thought of and left us with a completely hassle free arrival. The rooms were all very clean and tidy with more than enough bedding, storage and towels provided. In the evening the air conditioning was more than enough to cool the rooms to a comfortable temperature and was a welcome respite from the days heat. The pool was an excellent attribute for the villa. We spent most days in or around the pool and with our five year old child playing in the pool pretty much all day. The pool was very well maintained with visits twice a week from the pool cleaners. We made good use of the BBQ and outside dining area which provided a lovely secluded area to the side of the villa. The villa was within easy walking distance of the shops, bars, harbour, beaches and restaurants in Pernera and a 2 minute drive from Kapparis where the main supermarket is. The board walk to Protaras is about a 15 minute walk from the villa and will take about half an hour to stroll round to protaras with plenty of places to stop for refreshments along the way. Most of the boat trips start off from the end of Protaras pier and we can recommend the yellow semi submarine for ensiteful view of the seas around Cyprus. Our five year old was fascinated with the octopus and turtles we saw swimming past. Don't forget your towel!!! We found all the restaurants that we used to be clean, friendly and all served an excellent variety of food to a tremendously high standard. One of the highlight restaurants for us was Cultural Del Gusto, serving some of the best Italian food and wine we have had in a long time. The blue spice was also a big hit serving some fantastic varieties of cuisine. The favourite being their chocolate lava cake!! We found a car was beneficial although not essential as most things are within walking distance but for the further out attractions, the bus route is at the top of the road. Prior to our holiday we received a great deal of information about the area and the facilities on offer, with flyers for the main attractions on the island and recommended places to eat within both Pernera and Protaras. The booking was very straight forward and the prices were very reasonable. We would highly recommend both the villa and Pernera to anyone looking for a memorable family holiday.

Fantastic holiday and stay in villa.

We have just returned from a fantastic holiday staying in Pernera the villa is extremely well equipped, clean and well-maintained. The pool man came several times during our stay to ensure it was clean, and the outside facilities are excellent, with six comfortable sun beds, a garden table and chairs. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable, all with very effective aircon. The kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary equipment, plates, cutlery etc. The villa is just outside Pernera, with shops/bars/restaurants a short walk away and Protaras a short taxi/drive away. There are a few bays nearby and within walking distance however to fully appreciate this island I would recommend car hire. I would return to this villa and area of Cyprus and would highly recommend for those looking for a family holiday.
