The view is of the unit from the balcony I fantastic! The water pressure and temperature in the unit were great. The location of the unit is very convenient to everything.
The fan in the master bedroom does not work. The area of the wall near the stand up shower appears dirty or moldy. I swept one night, and there was not a dust pan to get up the debris. Also, one of the cabinets (the cabinet where the plates are) has a broken off connector so it is hanging on by one. It is stressful if you need something from this cabinet because of the fear of it falling.
I would not recommend this property specifically, but I would rent from Southern Vacation Properties again. The company was pleasant to interact with. The elevator situation at Shores of Panama is a nightmare as I read in the reviews prior to staying here. I don’t think the actual impact of the elevators is understood until it is experienced. The parking situation is a hassle, although it is nice having a reserved space. There is no quick trip because it will take 10 minutes minimum to get in or out of the parking garage
I was unimpressed at the cleanliness. Honestly, if this were a business I contracted with to clean, I would look for alternative options. The bedside table was covered with pennies when we arrived. The floor felt icky to my bare feet. There were no washcloths in the unit; there were bath towels, two floor mats, and hand towels. There was something slimy in the stand up shower I removed.
