We really enjoyed our stay overall. The view of the ocean was absolutely amazing, and the property was quiet and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. The only downside was the cleanliness. There were beard trimmings left on the bathroom sink when we arrived, and there were pillows with shams lying on the closet floor, which was also dirty. A little more attention to cleaning between guests would make a big difference. That said, for the price, it was well worth it for the incredible view. We’d consider staying again if the cleanliness issues were addressed.

Family vacation

The stay was good there was some things that definitely needed a little bit more attention and the cleanliness of the resort could have been a little bit better. The room had sand under all beds but it was good for the most part

Very quiet area

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used to stay on the other end but this time with the kids we wanted to try a different area and it was much quieter at night. The condo was more dated than the other places but everyone was nice.

Great Family Vacay at the Commodore!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Commodore is in a great location! It is away from most of the hustle and bustle, yet walking distance to Schooners and Patches is right next door! The complex is family friendly and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Our unit had plenty of room for 3 couples and was very clean other than the carpet in the first bedroom with the 2 double beds. Those beds could use new mattresses/pillows and curtains as the blinds don't do a good job keeping the lights from the hallway coming into the room at night. We have stayed in several units at the Commodore, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units - but this was the first time being on the end. LOVE the wrap around balcony! That is definitely a "must" from here on out! Each unit is decorated differently, so choose the one that suits your style - but the layout of all the units are GREAT!

A great family place

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed at The Commodore for the last 20 years. Each time we stay is always a good time! The condos are clean and the complex is well maintained. It’s the east end of the beach so it’s quieter and getting in and out of traffic is so much easier than Front Beach Road! Good restaurants are close!
