"Very comfortable and easy making reservations with the manager Ram. They need a good sign out on the road for the suites. Supermarket next door handy if you wanted to eat in as there is a decent kitchen and balcony in each suite. "

"The staff is very kind, each and every one of them. Maybe not too swift in replying the emails, that has to be improved, for sure. The structure is in a great spot, 5 minutes walking to many restaurants and to the beachfront, however it is pretty quiet given the fact that it is located in a secondary alley. The room is huge and has all the facilities for cooking, if you want to dine inside, and it had a lovely patio with pool view where you can chill out. Breakfast was nothing special but...

"Very nice property everything was great, nice view, but theres an any problem, the coffee table and kitchen counter has an any infestation, we told the cleaner and she said not to eat on the coffee table thats it If it wasn’t for this would have been a 10/10 stay We were in room A4"

"Wonderful beachfront resort with excellent staff and amenities. We just returned from a 4 day stay and the only downside was that the trip was not longer. Large spacious rooms, lovely well kept grounds, super friendly and helpful staff, great selection of restaurants and food and daily activity programs. Highly recommend this beautiful, well run resort. "

"We’ve stayed at dozens of luxury hotels all over the world, and the Lux Grand Gaube is up there towards the very top of the list. The hotel design is jawdroppingly beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant is 1st class- excellent variety and quality of dining options. Plenty of tasty veggie food. The live cooking stations are at the top of their game. The beach is spotless, plenty of spaces to relax, clear water, plenty of water activities are included. "

"We travelled from Australia and stayed at this beautiful hotel in Mauritius, let me tell you hands down this is one of the best hotels I have been to with breathtaking sea views, private beach, beautifully unique designed hotel and best five star in class service. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a friendly smile. All the staff were very helpful and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you to the reception staff and management for helping us plan our days accordingly to what we liked. Thank you to security at the front of the hotel for your exceptional service and friendly smiles each day. Thank you to the hotel staff for ensuring our room was clean and tidy to perfection each day. There is one highlight that we will never forget which is the dine in at the Tek Tek restaurant with our own private chef. The six course menu was inspired by the islands rich culture and let me tell you the food was on another level with the combination of flavours the dishes were perfection. Each dish was made with love from the Chef. Thank you Chef Shiva and Helper Karan for the most wonderful night and dine in experience you both made our experience staying at Mauritius incredible. We hope to see you both again soon. If you would like a luxurious stay I definitely recommend staying at this hotel. 🙂"

"All the staff were so helpful and kind to my elderly friend. We absolutely loved staying here. Facilities are amazing, people are beautiful, the scenery is outstanding and food and cocktails were plentiful!!! Would highly recommend this resort to anyone wanting a special holiday in Mauritius. "Wonderful stay at C Mauritius. The service at this hotel is unmatched. Definitely the best I’ve received at any hotel. Every single staff member goes out of their way to provide excellent service with a smile and warm greeting. The food was excellent and varied every day from breakfast to dinner. Fantastic vegetarian options . Great fruit selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean rooms. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful beach. Pedaloe, paddle boarding and kayaking included. The only improvement I could suggest is having at least one freshly squeezed fruit drink option included in all in inclusive or at least at one meal for guests who do not drink alcohol. Special mention to the below staff members who helped make the stay so lovely but there were definitely more but I didn’t get their names ! Thank you! - Queen gave us a fantastic welcome and was helpful throughout stay - Anastasia who always remembered my name - John, driver for south tour - Abhilesh who insisted on getting a special drink made for us as we didn’t drink alcohol - Sunil who was always so kind at dinner - Danny and deeya at the tours desk - Sharah from housekeeping was lovely - Phoebe was always so helpful - Raj was a true gentleman when taking care of our bags "

Exceptional family holiday

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"
