"We absolutely love staying at Cactus Cove! The room was clean, comfortable, and the whole place is just so cute and welcoming. It’s also incredibly kid-friendly, which makes it a wonderful place for families. The heated pool is awesome, and the kids loved having a playground and the fun slide in the lobby. Breakfast with Carl the Dinosaur is such a wonderful addition — the kids really enjoyed it! The staff is wonderful and always so friendly. We also enjoyed the Western Horseman Bar & Restaurant, which was a great convenience during our stay. And of course, the kids loved the free fresh cookies at the front desk! There’s also a snack bar where you can purchase snacks and drinks, which is really handy. Overall, Cactus Cove is such a fun, family-friendly place to stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend it to families with kids! 🦖🍪🏊♀️❤️ The kids can't wait to go back :)"

"If you’re looking for 5-star accommodations, this is not the place. If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, then I highly recommend checking this place out. Our two kids absolutely loved looking at the animals on the property and you couldn’t be closer to Palo Duro state park unless you stayed in the park. Sad Monkey Mercantile nearby provides some nice convenience. Very clean and unique property. For clarity, the bathroom is the only room that doesn’t have AC but with the fan my family found it very comfortable. We treated it like a glamping experience and couldn’t have been more pleased."

"What a wonderful place to spend the weekend with our grandson. He caught his first fish in the stocked pond which made him so happy! The cabin is clean and welcoming and the bathroom is stocked with everything a woman needs to relax after a long hot day in the canyon! The fresh eggs, sausage, muffins and mimosas were such a wonderful surprise and so thoughtful of the owner. We will be back!"
