"Beautiful old hotel with old fashioned features and great staff. Perfect location in heart of restaurants, bars, shops in Cedar Falls. Very safe area"

"When we first got to the room, there was loose candy and wrappers and other garbage on the floor and food in the chair, from the previous guests. It appeared the only cleaning of the room which had been done before our stay was to make the bed, replace trash can liners, and to quickly wipe down the surfaces and place a new bar of soap in the bathroom. "

The family was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Such a warm, relaxing experience — we can’t wait to come back!"

"Parking is across street, not convenient for checking in and out. Elevators are only available with your key card and only one of two worked. No stairway access to rooms so even lower floors need to use the elevator and when one was out it took 10 minutes to get up to your room. Parking is extra $5 per day."
