"You know the old saying "You get what you pay for"? Well, it's definitely true in this case. I was greeted by Dawn, at the front desk upon my arrival. She was pleasant and friendly, warm personality and smile to match. If only my stay could have matched. The room was basic, with almost no amenities. No ice bucket, but the front desk will provide you with two small trash bags to use. A tv in room but no remote. There was a very small mini fridge and a microwave in the room but both could use some bleach and a good cleaning. There was also a ironing board and iron in the room. No hair dryer. Several unwrapped plastic cups sat lips down on the bare counter top. Shower was gross, with black substance coming up the drain in the tub. The toilet paper holder was unscrewed from the wall and could hold a roll of toilet paper. Brown stuff all over the bedding, both inside and outside. No phone in the room either for my accom9 The floor had what appeared to be stepped on food in numerous places. There are zero outside lights on the entire second floor, which is of course, where I was put. Highly disappointing. Quite disgusting. "

"Very quaint and homey. Lots of area for gathering; ice cream shop, nice clean rooms, quiet. Within just a few steps of Blue Gate Performing Arts theatre. Enjoyed the Inn's personality and convenience."

"We had a deluxe 2 queen bed room with two recliners. The cleanliness of the room was satisfactory. Check in was smooth. Parking was plentiful and the area very safe. This was the 2nd time we've stayed here and both times the hallway noise was distracting. I noticed that the door to our room had at least an inch and a half space at the bottom of the door. The hallway/foyer is huge and it echoes and any noise would be loud in our room while we were falling asleep. And I really feel that people in the hallway or going bye could hear what's going on inside our room. And alot of times a couple wants privacy and intimacy without the world hearing it. Just an FYI. Throw a couple of pillows on the floor against the door. I just don't understand why they cut the door's that short. Very annoying 😒 "
