We stayed here in early November, and the weather was perfect, as was the property. Listing was accurate and pictures do it justice- the nuance not explicitly called out is they charge for heating the pool and hot tub, but I assumed it would given all the other properties in the area do. The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there, and while frustrating, the weather was nice enough that we didn’t miss it.
Something important for those visiting in warmer months- there was a sign asking us to not turn the AC below 75*, and as someone who normally sleeps at a much cooler temp, this was hard- but it was cool enough outside at night that we could cool the house at night in other ways. This would be really hard in the summer months, but I also wouldn’t go to Palm Springs/the desert in the summer anyhow.
Standard Palm springs vacation rental laws apply- so if you’re not aware, Palm Springs has noise ordinances for vacation rentals that 1- no music outside at any time, period, and 2- quiet hours after 10pm and people shouldn’t be able to hear anything outside the house. Fine for us, but if you didn’t know, now you do :)
Close to downtown but not walking distance, so you def need a car (which was fine- we didn’t want that close to downtown).
Last thing I’ll add is the neighborhood is mostly vacation properties/rentals, which makes it prime for theft for things left out. The neighbor renting the house next to us told us her bike had been stolen from the backyard. It’s perfectly safe, but keep valuables inside/locked.
Great for a couples or friends getaway, to relax and rest in a relaxing and quiet hoise/neighborhood.
