Hotel is super close to downtown and shops and restaurants as well a public transportation employees at front desks helpful wit tips for transportation and dining
Isabella made our check in and our stay very convenient. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small for a triple bed room. The location of the hotel allowed us to explored the historic center and gave us easy access to transportation to farther areas. We felt comfortable leaving our car in street parking nearby.
The building has a number of small hotels. Hotel City Center is on the first floor and is serviced by an elevator. The room was spacious and comfortable. The receptionist was helpful, and very knowledgable about various sites in Palermo. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Teatro Massimo and an easy half hours walk from the station.
It was ap very old building but for sure full of history, facade was not so.inviting but because we love histoical.place we did not mind. But when we reached our room it was superb very nice. Location is so central.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Unfortunately, the property front is not what you see in the advertised photos. We were somewhat hesitate to stay.
Fortunately, the inside was clean, beds comfortable, and we felt safe.
The area is in a perfect place to access markets, restaurants, shopping etc.
The shower was cold, the three days we stayed, so we left early.
Small friendly hotel , conveniently situated for shops , restaurants, cafes.
Manola & Antonella on reception were friendly and exceptionally helpful.
Bedroom was comfortable & very clean ; the shower was good .
Bedroom looked out onto interior courtyard but it was only for sleeping in , so that wasn’t a problem for me .
Hotel is on the 1st floor , accessed by ancient-style lift , and a keycard opens the main door electronically. Once I’d got used to the lift it was fine !
Not luxurious , no frills , but good value for money . The staff are lovely !
Would return .
Arrived late at night as our flight from Naples was delayed. The staff are helpful but no staff 24 hrs so no one was there. Room was comfortable & clean & excellent location; walkable to everything. Only negative is that the water is not potable & there were 2 small water bottles in fridge & nothing open to buy water. We rented a car at airport but street parking is a huge challenge. A car is not necessary in the city so would recommend renting just before leaving Palermo to drive around Sicily.
Upon arrival in the room my partner pulled away the pillow and a large cockroach scurried away. Luckily she’s not squeamish. This was our first indication as to the condition and quality of the hotel.
There was no potable water in the room which means you have to use bottled water. The staff was generous with water but locked the fridge after 8pm until 8:30am. Sort of like camping.
The shower was the worst ever. From freezing cold to scalding in seconds and then back and forth between the two. You could feel the pumps kick in and then blast you with scalding water. Not to mention that the fixture is coming off the wall.
There is NO parking! The street parking is always full at 1euro per hour. The are private garages a distance away that cost 18 to 30 euros per day. We had to haul our baggage down the street. Huge pain.
All-in-all not a great experience. It’s not what the pictures on the websites show. The location is ok and close to Teatro Massimo.
We were the last room in the hall and the furthest away from the wi-fi device. The performance was terrible. We used data from our phones instead.
Truly in the heart of the city, located within walking distance of some great sights and restaurants. The room was spotless, the staff was super helpful and friendly, and we loved just leaving the front door in the morning and being right next to a great coffee shop with amazing croissants. I will definitely return here!
Thus was a great budget hotel. Impeccably clean. Spacious rooms. Plenty of hot water. Best of all location. Easy walk to everything including pick up place for day trips. Shopping excellent. Gabriella’s restaurant list was terrific we dine several times at locale. It was five minutes walk would recommend and stay again
