"10/10 Excellent!The house and all the amenities were excellent! I grew up in Kekaha and came back for a family reunion and found this place to be perfect for my family. For those that have never been, Kekaha can get hot so having an ac in every room was great, especially after being at the beach all day. The outdoor bbq was also perfect for for all the grilling. The outdoor yard is spacious and lots of grass area for kids to play in the yard.Mahalo to Chad and Liz for being great hosts! They were very fast and attentive with the whole process from check in to check out and even let me extend my stay on short notice!If you are looking for a place to stay on the west side of Kauaʻi look no further. Kekaha is a small quiet local plantation town and it is a place to stay when you want a real true Kauaʻi experience. While some visitors may feel out of place the people are second to know. If you say hi, are respectful to the ‘aina (land) and want to learn of the culture they will treat you like family. Mahalo nui loa to Chad and Liz! Will definitely stay here again!"

"We had been traveling for several weeks before staying at cottages so it was nice having a bigger space. The property is a bit isolated, no large hotels nearby, so great nighttime star gazing. While you easily have beach access, the beach has lots of driftwood lining the edge so no real beach sitting. There is a beach walk along the water. Good thing there is a kitchen because the on-site restaurant is terribly expensive ($21 for very average cheeseburger) and you don’t really have wait staff, have go to counter to order. We ended up going to a nearby grocery store & getting breakfast & lunch items so kitchen is decently equipped."

"Very pricey but worth it. The property is truly magical. Everyone is cheery and extremely helpful with any questions you have about the property or the island in general. Kukui'ula does not disappoint!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this rental great. It has easy access to all the West side attractions (Waimea Canyon, Salt Pond Beach, Kauai Coffee Plantation, etc..) The location is a local surfer hotspot. This isn't a place for little kids to go splashing. It would be nice to have a little KVR sign next to the correct driveway once you go through the gate to avoid confusion. Remember to be respectful of the feral cats, feral pigs, chickens and geckos too!"

"The house was perfect for our family of 10. The view from the top deck was amazing! Two refrigerators to hold plenty of food and drinks. Hosts were wonderful, any issues were resolved quickly and they gave us lots of info for places to go! If you're looking for someplace to hold a party of 10 highly recommend. Each bedroom has it's own bath which was great when everyone was getting ready to go out."
