Two blocks from the center of town

Comfortable studio two blocks up from the center of town. My wife and I are in our 80's, and walked to the ferry to Russell, shuttle to Waitangi and the Inter-City bus to Auckland. Our host made sure we were comfortable and safe during Cyclone Tim. We ate excellent, interesting food at 4 of the many restaurants on the wharf, main street and one on Williams Rd... a short distance from the studio. Many neat little shops are stuffed between sandwich shops on the main st and adjacent alleys.Full of friendly and knowledgeable staff...one store was able to provide me with the artists contact info for a print I purchased. We are already preparing for a repeat trip next year. Paihia is a beautiful town well wort seeing.

Location of the unit was very good, very close to cbd for supermarket, cafes and such like, very short walk to the wharf for the ferry to Russell. Off street parking a bo us. A welcome/connection to the owners would have been nice. All in all it provided all we required for our stay. Many thanks Graham and Deirdre
