"I had a wonderful stay at the Plaza Travel Inn. The air-conditioning worked great (which is so important in Florida), and the room was clean, comfortable, and just what I needed. Parking was easy and conveniently located right nearby, which made everything that much smoother. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and you can tell they truly care about their guests. I will absolutely be staying here again and would happily recommend it to others. "

"There was plenty of space for the three of us to spread out and recharge. Didn't use the pool since it was pretty cool, but you can sit out undercover, no matter the weather. Plenty of parking. Starbucks is a good walk."

"It is only the second hotel to offer boat trailer parking with electric hook up to charge batteries. I will most definitely be staying there again the next time I’m in Okeechobee. It looks like recent renovations have been done. The room was very clean and comfortable. I love a room that has a refrigerator and microwave."

The apartment was spacious enough for two in terms of sleeping and luggage, although for eating or working it would definitely be more comfortable for one.It could have been a little cleaner in places, but there was a very generous supply of towels — more than enough even for two guests.Communication with the host was good and responsive throughout, and the location worked very well for me.Overall, good value for the price. "Cute guesthouse. Conveniently located to attractions and events. Communication with host good. Had one question about exiting gated grounds without vehicle (for walking the neighborhood) as it seemed you couldn't activate the sensor for the gate by walking. Question may have been inadvertently missed by host. A couple of minor things to consider: table lamps for living area and bedrooms for working on computers or reading and treating septic/water (if possible, other than rid-x and pumping) as there was a strong smell in bathroom and back bedroom at times. Its definitely understandable this would happen with the water table level and swamp lands in the southern part of Florida. Other than this, it was good. "
