"Was a nice enough place, if a bit cluttered, and a bit small for a family, but we booked last minute. Comms were good and check-in was easy enough. A good option for small groups looking to stay near the NP."

"Stayed one night and it was perfect for getting to and from Volcanoes. Best times to get there are early and late. Layout is quirky but functional. Bring your own coffee and filters as neither are provided. I had coffee but needed to ask a restaurant we stopped at for a filter. Wish it had a grill because the town of Volcano is a ghost town at night. No AC but it gets cool at night. A dehumidifier would be helpful rather than opening the windows but at least the coki frogs aren't as bad as...

"Super close to Kīlauea visitor center and amazing house to sleep at. Loved that we could just show up with our family and have just about everything provided. We bought some food to cook for breakfast and was able to cook for ourselves."

"Our stay was wonderful and the property exceeded our expectations. Perfectly located to visit the volcanoes and Hilo town, the only regret is that we were not there longer to enjoy the home more. "EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED! Convenient to Volcano NP. Hosted thought of everything.... space heater, dehumidifer and well outfitted kitchen. Cozy, unique property. Would definitely stay here again!"

"What a sweet little spot. We were volcano watching and did not want to have to drive back to Kona, so we spotted this place at a very reasonable price, booked it and saved ourselves the 2 hour schlep. It was clean, quiet (well except for the coqui frogs - but just had to close the window) , cozy and had a supremely comfortable bed. Best of all, it was 8 minutes from the park. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next volcano expedition. Thanks Lokahi Lodge! "

"This accommodation is immaculate, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The king-sized bed is firm and supportive. An acre of beautiful gardens on the property are a pleasure to stroll through. The host is easy to communicate with and friendly. I would definitely stay here again."
