"Only issue is Host didn’t send check in until 30 minutes or more after time and also contact phone went to voice mail. Tried to make contact over a period of 4 hrs. It caused stress not knowing if we had a valid reservation or not"

"Didn't hear from host till I called 11:30 a.m. the day of arrival. I had emailed a couple days before as I hadn't heard anything, no response. Called about 11:30 a.m. and left a message. Got a return call about 1 p.m. The house was nice, but furniture and amenities I would rate as "tired" There was a decent amount of kitchen furnishings, but lacked basic things. There were no trash bags except the one in the garbage can. The house was cleaned, but wasn't "clean" . The second bedrooms sheets appeared to have not been changed since the last people were there. Under the furniture and beds hadn't been cleaned. I found 2 pairs of reading glasses, a 5 dollar bill, and various other things as well as food. There are no lights by the stairs outside, which make a definite trip hazard with the steps being painted dark brown. The fishing dock has many boards that the screws or nails have rusted away and the boards are loose. A few are not attached any more. There were various screws and nails laying around in the driveway and patio. I picked up at least 15 in the driveway."

"Great house, plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen was plenty big and stocked with everything you need to cook with. We had a group of 10, and 2 boats. Parking is no problem with the lot across from the house. "
