"The space itself was great for our family. The appliances need to be maintained. The freezer on the refrigerator is covered in aluminum foil and tape so it does not usable the washing machine dryer combo unit in the kitchen leaked all over the floor. Every time it was used and the dishwasher was not fully installed so when we were loading it, it fell out of the counter and onto the floor. there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms. "We loved every minute of our stay at El Colonial. Because we booked through Expedia (we think?), we had access to the unlimited open bar in reception, but the main perk of that was the bartenders! Friendly, knowledgeable, interesting -- talking to the bartenders and hearing about PR was literally the highlight of our trip. Also, wonderfully, the way the light hit our particular room meant that, in the mornings, there was a camera obscura projection of the street outside onto our roof! 100/10 (because of the staff!)"
