"Our stay at this Orr's Island rental was ejoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of the water right from the deck, a sight that truly made our trip unforgettable. The property was well-maintained, cozy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing getaway. The waterview was the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the front porch, sipping coffee in the morning and seeing the breathtaking sunsets in the evening. It was the ideal spot for unwinding and taking in the natural beauty of the Maine coast. The home was well-appointed and comfortable, with everything we needed for a seamless stay. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking, and the living area was a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. We especially appreciated the extra touches that made the rental feel like a home away from home. The location on Orr's Island was great. "Far exceeded our 8 80 year olds expectations!!! Well equipped with every kind of utensil, pot, serving dish, dishware you could think of! Lovely linens, incredibly comfy beds, comfortable gathering areas inside and out. Gorgeous location!!!! A wonderfully funky house to enjoy. "

"Such a beautiful cozy cottage with a lot of character. Quite neighborhood and a lot of walking areas to take our dog. We loved sitting out on the porch watching the lobstermen and all the boats. Close to Cook’s Lobster House and Sundrench, both good restaurants. "

"We (8 adults) had a wonderful long weekend. We especially enjoyed the grassy lot across the road. Coffee in the morning, croquet , lunch on the picnic table and sunset by the fire pit. Perfect."

"What a cute cottage!! Perfectly Maine! The cottage is cozy but has room for everything you need! The views from every window are beautiful! But the views from outside are spectacular! There’s a small porch to sit and enjoy a sunrise, cup of coffee or cocktail. There’s a picnic table to enjoy your meals outdoors.The cottage was well appointed, and very clean. The beds are comfortable. Contacting the host was very easy, and they replied quickly to any questions we had.The cottage is a great size for a small family or two couples.Would love to visit again!"

"We had a great stay at Augustus Cottage. Cheri’s communication was excellent, and the homeowners next door were kind and welcoming. The cottage was exactly as advertised – very clean, neat, comfortable, and well appointed with new appliances and a smart TV. Everything worked perfectly.The location was fantastic. Nice neighborhood, and the small beach at Lowell’s Cove, just a short walk down the road, was perfect for exploring at low tide. There’s also a small hiking area with another beach right across the street – both were great to enjoy before heading out on our daily activities. From the cottage, it’s easy to explore Orr’s and Bailey Islands or quickly get into Brunswick. So much to do. Note that if you have two vehicles (or even a visitor) things could get a bit complicated, as there is truly only space for 1 vehicle. However, for a small family with one vehicle, this was perfect.Overall, we loved our stay and would happily return to this cottage!"
