"
The hotel is stylish, modern, and clearly designed with aesthetics in mind. The room and facilities felt fresh and thoughtfully curated, and the balcony was the perfect spot to unwind after a bath with a drink and a sense of “main character energy.” The staff were also warm and friendly throughout our stay.
A couple of housekeeping details slightly broke the illusion of perfection: one of the glasses by the sink had some pretty serious grime/residue on it, which was hard to ignore. In addition, the soap dispenser by the sink was empty when we arrived. The latter felt more like bad luck than a systemic issue, though.
This hotel has an interesting balance when it comes to families and couples. There is a well-maintained kids’ room, which we appreciated, but many other parts of the hotel feel designed more for adults seeking a calm and romantic atmosphere.
For example, the spa is definitely not very child-friendly, and some of the room’s stylish interior choices and furnishings made us instinctively enter “full-time toddler hazard prevention mode.” Parents of small children will probably understand the feeling immediately.
On the other hand, for couples looking for a chic and romantic getaway, this place is very easy to recommend. Had we visited in our pre-kids era, we probably would’ve been sipping wine on the balcony pretending we were in a perfume commercial."
