"Peterson Mill is a unique and special property. My husband and I and our toy poodle felt right at home. The location in Saugatuck is perfect. The property is near downtown and walkable without feeling crowded and is immediately adjacent to boat docks and a nice restaurant. Our little dog enjoyed the treats and the ball, which were kindly supplied by the owner. The property is next to a pond and a pretty little stream that once supplied the power for the mill. As mentioned by others, the indoor staircase is pretty steep, but handrails are conveniently located, and you can always use the standard outdoor stairs that lead to a nice deck with a dining table and chairs and views of the Kalamazoo River. We highly recommend the property and will be returning when we vacation again in the Saugatuck area."
