The Rosemont Inn was fantastic! It’s literally just across the street from Douglas Beach on a peaceful lakeside road. The room was cozy and many thoughtful amenities like beach towels, chairs, bikes to borrow, info on local restaurants. There is a lovely backyard with pool and beautiful relaxing landscaping. It’s just a short drive to down town Saugatuck. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to unwind and relax.

A very relaxing stay. Location was very convenient. Breakfast was outstanding. Very nice amenities, the entire family enjoyed it.

Loved the Rosemont Inn

The Inn is beautiful and comfortable. The back yard grounds are gorgeous. I used the hot tub, the sauna, and the heated pool. Breakfast was good. Right across the street from the access to the beach.

NIce place by the lake

This is a nice, well run B&B. They provide towels and chairs for the beach and have bikes to use. Breakfasts are good. Rooms are pretty small.

We enjoyed everything about the Rosemont from location to front porch to the incredible breakfast. Owners very nice and friendly. Felt right at home from the start. Loved it and will return for sure. Thank you for a great weekend.

Great place to stay. The grounds are amazing. The pool was very nice. The breakfast was very good. The Douglas public beach is across the street but it’s a lot of steps down to the beach. Lots to climb back up. Our bed was a little hard for my personal preference but not bad. Was able to watch the sunset from the front yard.

A great mix of well maintained historical structure and fixtures with modern amenities. The owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. They've thought of and provided features to enhance the stay. The outside yard is inviting. All-in-all, it was a very pleasant stay in a wonderful setting. I will recommend it, and will come back.

The location is superb! Beach directly in front of B&B ~ they have everything out for you to enjoy ~ beach chairs, towels. The yard is magical. Your own paradise of flowers and koi pond. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was perfect for a relaxing dip. I was really impressed by the property. Thank you for an excellent vacation. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time during our fall leaf trip. Our room was spotless, and we enjoyed hearing the lake while in our room. We woke up to the wonderful smells of a tasty and filling breakfast. The owners/staff were tentative and friendly. As a bonus, the garden and grounds looked fantastic!

Think twice…

The male owner is rude. The female owner was drunk and rude Saturday night. We were chastised in front of other guests about eating too many snacks from the “help yourself to snacks” area. Beautiful Inn…the owners should have kept their Chicago attitudes in Chicago. Don’t expect good hospitality, but the property is A+, but epic fail who owns it.

The most serene and perfect stay for a couple!

We had the most serene and lovely stay at Rosemont Inn! Steps away from the beach, comfortable, quiet, peaceful and lovely all around! It’s a clean and well taken care of property. It is over 125 years old, keep that in mind, so it has its own charm. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, we loved reading in the backyard. They have beach towels and chairs to rent for free. Bike rentals as well. Free parking. A sauna (didn’t get to try this time), but also a lovely pool! They have a fridge for guests use, so you can store a few things if needed. We loved the kitties, they were the sweetest furry companions! The inn is perfectly located to enjoy the beach and all the lovely charm and businesses that Douglas has to offer. Make sure to check out outside coffee, Penny Royal coffee and provisions, Farmhouse Deli and Everyday People Cafe!

Breakfast was great, staff was very attentive, gardens were gorgeous, and the pool/hot tub/spa facilities were nice. However, there were still obvious issues with such an old building. There were steps in inconvenient places that we tripped over, including in the middle of the hall and the middle of our bedroom. The TV was fixed behind one poster of our 4-poster bed. The walls between our bathroom and our neighbor’s were paper-thin. Be aware that they have 2 small dogs and a cat, which would have been fine, if we hadn’t run into dog poop in the dining room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but don’t plan to come back.

It was an incredible bed-and-breakfast We were on our honeymoon. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Service was wonderful. Breakfast was wonderful. Everything was so easy and accessible to get to will come back very soon.

Second summer in a row, my husband and I love our stay at Rosemont! Quiet, peaceful outdoors and lovely indoors, lovely pool and the beach is right across. It’s the perfect getaway. Breakfast is delicious, it’s lovely enjoying it on the terrace. Towels, chairs, and so many other available amenities make the stay seamless. We love being so close to Outside Coffee, Pennyroyal, Everyday People Cafe and also Fennville was a short drive.
